Na noite do passado domingo, uma plateia, com mais de três centenas de cadeiras instalada no Largo de São Miguel encheu-se de pessoas para ver (ao vivo) a encenação da “Via-Sacra”, que decorreu ao longo da escadaria, da Igreja de São Miguel o Anjo, em Calendário.
Participaram nesta iniciativa algumas dezenas de elementos dos vários movimentos paroquiais da freguesia, tanto na montagem dos cenários, nas leituras, nos cânticos, como na representação das várias cenas ao longo do percurso e durante cerca de oitenta minutos.
No final, o pároco padre Jorge Ferreira, como mentor do evento e incansável na orientação desta encenação, deixou agradecimentos a quantos colaboraram para que fosse possível esta realização.
O avançado famalicense, com 12 golos, foi o melhor marcador da série A do Campeonato de Portugal. Muito embora a sua equipa, Os Sandinenses, não tenha evitado a descida aos distritais de futebol, Totas foi o melhor marcador desta série, com 12 golos.
No total das quatro séries e na fase regular, apenas três jogadores fizeram mais golos, Martelo, do Leça, com 16; Zé Gata, do Marialvas, com 14, e Souza, do Louletano, com 15.
Pedro Totas, de 29 anos, fez parte da formação no FC Famalicão e também jogou no GD Joane onde, em duas épocas, mostrou a sua veia goleadora, apontando 29 golos em duas épocas. Depois passou pelo Pevidém e Dumienses, dois clubes onde também mostrou os seus créditos.
A iniciativa promovida pela Rede Local de Educação e Formação, a que se associam várias empresas (42), tem ajudado muitos jovens na escolha daquela que pode ser a sua vocação académica e profissional, ajustada aos seus interesses e aptidões.
Na passada semana, este programa de Miniestágios, colocou 124 alunos do 9.º, 10.º e 11.º anos de escolaridade a vivenciarem, durante dois dias, o contacto direto com o contexto real de trabalho.
Aproveitando as férias letivas da Páscoa, os jovens tiveram a oportunidade de observar o funcionamento das organizações, as dinâmicas profissionais e desenvolveram competências que contribuirão para o seu percurso académico e profissional.
Este programa municipal de Miniestágios pretende consciencializar os alunos para as especificidades dos contextos laborais, promover as competências de empregabilidade, proporcionar a exploração dos perfis profissionais e fomentar uma atitude empreendedora.
Por seu turno, as empresas parceiras assumem um papel fundamental na formação integral dos alunos, contribuindo ativamente para a sua orientação e preparação para os desafios futuros. Trata-se de uma ligação entre escolas, autarquia e tecido empresarial local que alinha «na cooperação estratégica de valorização da educação», escreve o Município em nota de imprensa.
Nascido, em 2023, dentro das urbanizações municipais, o projeto Sons do Bairro, continua a ser citado como um exemplo de inclusão social e educacional. Para além do impacto social do projeto e a sua abordagem inovadora na utilização da música como ferramenta de inclusão para crianças, adolescentes e jovens, neste projeto já nasceram 25 músicas originais, envolvendo quase meia centena de jovens. Tudo para cumprir o propósito de reduzir desigualdades, promover a integração e a inclusão, a diversidade cultura, e fortalecer laços comunitários.
O projeto tem sido apresentado em diferentes iniciativas, como aconteceu no IV Congresso (Luso-Brasileiro) de Serviço Social Escolar, que decorreu no auditório do Agrupamento de Escolas D. Sancho I.
Sob o tema “A promoção do sucesso educativo – Uma construção colaborativa”, a iniciativa serviu de reflexão e partilha de experiências sobre a importância da colaboração entre diferentes áreas para garantir o sucesso educativo. «Normalmente as pessoas do bairro vão beber recursos à comunidade, mas desta vez é a comunidade que vem beber recursos às urbanizações e é assim que Sons do Bairro se constrói e promove a inclusão», destacou João Costa, um dos responsáveis pelo projeto.
Recentemente, Sons do Bairro foi, também, apresentado nos Encontros Exploratórios de Prática Musical Inclusiva, promovido pela Direção-Geral das Artes (DGARTES) no âmbito do Programa Iberorquestras Juvenis, que decorreu em Arronches, Alentejo, reunindo especialistas, músicos, educadores e gestores culturais de Portugal e do mundo ibero-americano.
A sede da Associação de Futebol de Salão Amador de Vila Nova de Famalicão (AFSA) e o campo de jogos de Petanca da Associação Desportiva e Cultural de Novais, ambos instalados na antiga Escola Básica da freguesia, foram renovados e receberam a visita do presidente da Câmara, Mário Passos, no último sábado.
A requalificação da sede da AFSA, com apoio da autarquia, passou pela pintura dos espaços interiores, renovação do mobiliário e criar maior conforto ao salão nobre.
Já a intervenção no campo de jogos de Petanca da Associação Desportiva e Cultural de Novais implicou a construção de uma cobertura para o recinto que agora reúne melhores condições para a prática da modalidade.
“O movimento associativo em Famalicão é forte e dinâmico e coloca-nos permanentes desafios. “Os adeptos da petanca ganham aqui condições para a prática da modalidade durante todo o ano e a AFSA melhores condições para melhor servir os inúmeros clubes que integram o tão participado campeonato concelhio de futebol de salão”, disse Mário Passos no decorrer da visita.
“Sonhos e Metamorfoses: O Surrealismo de Paula Rego” é o nome da nova exposição da Fundação Cupertino de Miranda, em Famalicão. A mostra abriu ao público na passada sexta-feira, 11 de abril, com a presença do secretário de Estado da Cultura, Alberto Santos, e do presidente da Câmara Municipal de Famalicão, Mário Passos.
A exposição está aberta ao público até ao dia 4 de janeiro de 2026 e apresenta o universo surrealista de Paula Rego, com curadoria de Catarina Alfaro, Marlene Oliveira e Perfecto Cuadrado.
Mário Passos fala numa oportunidade única “para conhecer o trabalho de uma das figuras mais incontornáveis da arte nacional e internacional”.
Paula Rego é uma artista reconhecida a nível internacional, cuja arte aborda temas como a condição feminina, política, literatura e cultura popular. Tem nas suas obras uma forte expressão surrealista, combinando o inconsciente, o bizarro e os seres imagináveis com factos reais.
Em 2025 completaria 90 anos e segundo a Fundação Cupertino de Miranda, esta exposição é uma homenagem à sua vida e obra. Em parceria com a Fundação D. Luís I, a mostra apresenta uma seleção de pinturas, desenhos e gravuras que representam várias fases da carreira da artista, com especial enfoque no surrealismo.
