O Governo, liderado por Luís Montenegro, concedeu tolerância de ponto aos funcionários públicos nos dias 24 e 31 de dezembro. A medida, publicada em Diário da República, abrange serviços da administração direta e institutos públicos, excetuando os que devem manter-se em funcionamento por interesse público.
Montenegro justificou a decisão com a tradição de deslocações familiares durante o Natal e o Ano Novo e com a prática habitual de conceder esta dispensa em serviços públicos não essenciais. Serviços essenciais deverão assegurar folgas em datas alternativas, garantindo a continuidade do serviço.
Na noite desta terça-feira, em Barcelos, quatro famalicenses foram distinguidos com o troféu “O Minhoto”. Numa publicação nas redes socais, o presidente da Câmara Municipal assinala que «Famalicão é terra de campeões». Mário Passos dá os parabéns e sublinha que «Famalicão orgulha-se do vosso exemplo».
Recorde-se que o hoquista do FC Porto, Gonçalo Alves, venceu o prémio individual do júri, Vanessa Carvalho, atleta do SC Braga, no atletismo; Filipe Carneiro, no desporto adaptado, e Miguel Ribeiro, presidente da SAD do FC Famalicão, foi distinguido como dirigente do ano.
O apuramento aconteceu em três fases, por um Júri composto por mais de 100 elementos, entre jornalistas desportivos, representantes de associações e federações, bem como personalidades do desporto da região.
No evento desta terça-feira, também foram homenageados os atletas Olímpicos e Paralímpico em Paris 2024, tal como todos os que foram Campeões do Mundo e da Europa no último ano – perto de 20.
Os Troféus Desportivos “O Minhoto” são promovidos pela Associação de Valorização e Divulgação Regional “A Nossa Terra”, atribuindo 28 troféus, de entre 86 nomeados, a praticantes, dirigentes, treinadores, árbitros e clubes, das diversas modalidades, num reconhecimento do mérito de todos os que dão de si em prol do todo, de quem se dedica à prática desportiva e alcança resultados dignos de destaque.

Na noite do dia 27 de dezembro, às 20h30, o FC Famalicão reúne em Assembleia Geral para, entre outros pontos, votar o relatório de contas e parecer do Conselho Fiscal relativo ao ano findo.
No auditório da Fundação Cupertino de Miranda, os sócios vão, ainda, discutir e deliberar a proposta de alteração dos estatutos, com a atualização dos valores das quotas e limites de endividamento.
A proposta de alteração dos estatutos «reflete a necessidade de modernização em diversas áreas», das quais se destacam o modelo de quotas, a limitação de mandatos, para três, para reforçar a rotatividade «e a inovação na gestão». Ainda segundo a direção, também ficarão definidas regras sobre o endividamento, «para uma gestão financeira responsável».
Todas as propostas, segundo a direção liderada por José Pina Ferreira, foram «cuidadosamente elaboradas para garantir a sustentabilidade do clube», fortalecer «a relação com os associados» e dotar o clube de mecanismos «para enfrentar os desafios das próximas décadas».
Sobre os limites de endividamento, a redação da proposta consagra que o montante global das despesas orçamentadas só poderá ser excedido em cada ano económico, sob proposta da direção que, no final de cada mandato, não poderá ter contraído um endividamento que exceda os seguintes parâmetros: valor de passivo superior a 200.000€ contraídos durante o mandato, atualizado com a inflação anualmente; faturas não superiores a 120 dias de gestão corrente; despesas relacionadas com obras e remodelações estão excluídas deste limite, desde que os respetivos custos sejam amortizados ao longo de um período máximo de 5 anos, podendo este prazo ser estendido caso aprovado em Assembleia Geral. Caso não se cumpram os requisitos de endividamento, a direção pode solicitar à Assembleia Geral o alargamento do mandato por mais um ano para regularizar a situação.
Na observância dos estatutos, a assembleia só funciona com um mínimo de 100 associados, com a quota de novembro deste ano. Caso, à hora marcada, não esteja presente o número de sócios, a assembleia reúne trinta minutos depois.
Uma menor de 14 anos foi raptada na noite de ontem, em Freamunde, no concelho de Paços de Ferreira, e localizada horas depois em Famalicão, a mais de 50 quilómetros do local onde o crime ocorreu.
Segundo o Correio da Manhã, o suspeito, um homem de 21 anos identificado como o ex-namorado da vítima, terá manietado a jovem com fita-cola antes de a colocar na mala de um carro. Após o rapto, dirigiu-se em direção a Famalicão, onde a menor conseguiu libertar-se e contactar as autoridades.
A GNR foi rápida a intervir, seguindo pistas que levaram à localização da vítima e à detenção do suspeito, já em Lousado, Famalicão.
Na noite desta terça-feira, o concelho de Famalicão teve quatro galardoados em mais uma edição dos troféu desportivos O Minhoto.
Em Barcelos, foram distinguidos Miguel Ribeiro, presidente da SAD do Famalicão, como dirigente desportivo; o hoquista Gonçalo Alves, que joga no FC Porto, recebeu o Grande Prémio do Júri Individual; Vanessa Carvalho, atleta do SC Braga, que recentemente esteve nos Europeus de Corta-Mato; e, ainda, Filipe Carneiro, no desporto adaptado.
A vigésima sétima edição d’ O Minhoto consagrou dezenas atletas, clubes e dirigentes em mais uma celebração do desporto da região. O concelho de Famalicão era dos que mais nomeados tinha – 10 – e recebeu quatro distinções.
