As sessões de esclarecimento do “Haja Saúde” passaram, esta semana, por Vermoim. “Emagrecimento Consciente da Mulher” foi o tema do encontro que decorreu, na noite de quarta-feira, na sede da Junta de Freguesia.
Foi, segundo o autarca local, Bruno Cunha, «uma conversa sobre a liberdade, a felicidade, a mudança e, sobretudo, sobre o processo de bem-estar que permite às mulheres (e aos homens também) encararem, de forma positiva e consciente, as diferentes etapas do seu organismo».
A Junta de Freguesia de Vermoim agradece a presença da vereadora Sofia Fernandes, bem como de Catarina Cunha (Nutricionista) e Edna Carvalho (Psicóloga) «pela excelente sessão e esclarecimentos prestados».
O “Haja Saúde”, projeto do Município de Vila Nova de Famalicão, em parceria com a Unidade Local de Saúde do Médio-Ave e o Hospital Narciso Ferreira, visa promover a literacia e educação em Saúde. Cada sessão é aberta a toda a comunidade e de entrada livre.
Esta quinta-feira, a PSP deteve um homem, de 54 anos de idade, pelo crime de desobediência. O homem foi apanhado a conduzir um veículo automóvel que se encontrava apreendido, por falta de seguro de responsabilidade civil.
A detenção aconteceu na cidade de Famalicão e o condutor foi notificado para comparecer no Tribunal Judicial de Vila Nova de Famalicão.
Realiza-se este domingo o sorteio do automóvel da campanha promovida pelo Departamento de Formação do FC Famalicão, com o objetivo de angariar receita para as atividades dos escalões de formação. O sorteio será feito no intervalo do jogo entre FC Famalicão e Nacional, no Estádio municipal, partida marcada para as 15H30.
A venda de bilhetes foi feita, por todo o concelho, pelos jovens atletas da formação e diretores do clube.
Antes do sorteio do automóvel, um Hyundai i20, ainda serão vendidos, à porta do Estádio Municipal, os últimos bilhetes disponíveis..
A iniciativa partiu da direção do clube e a promoção do sorteio, que se insere no 93.º aniversário da instituição, decorreu ao longo dos últimos meses «com o inestimável apoio dos nossos sócios, adeptos e muitos mecenas, que nos ajudaram».
Ao final da tarde deste sábado, a equipa sénior de basquetebol do FAC realiza o jogo de apresentação aos sócios. A partida está marcada para as 18 horas, no Pavilhão Municipal, tendo por adversário o Académico FC.
Trata-se de mais um jogo de preparação para o campeonato nacional da 1.ª divisão de basquetebol, cuja primeira fase começa a 12 de outubro, com o Famalicense a receber o Angrabasket.

No próximo domingo, às 18 horas, o Pavilhão Municipal recebe a final da Taça do Minho de hóquei em patins.
O derradeiro encontro para atribuir o troféu da edição 24/25 é entre o FAC e a AD Limianos, duas formações que na nova época disputam o nacional da 2.ª divisão de hóquei em patins.
O executivo municipal aprovou recentemente a abertura do concurso público internacional, com um preço base de 36,5 milhões de euros, para o serviço de recolha de resíduos urbanos em todo o concelho para os próximos 10 anos. O novo contrato começa em outubro do próximo ano, quando terminar o contrato em vigor, desde 2015, com a atual prestadora do serviço – a Blueotter.
Uma das grandes novidades do novo serviço será a recolha noturna, evitando constrangimentos rodoviários causados pela circulação dos camiões do lixo e a permanência de resíduos nas ruas ao longo do dia.
Está garantida a manutenção do sistema porta a porta e a criação de novos circuitos para a recolha de biorresíduos e dos chamados “monstros”, bem como a limpeza através de varredora mecânica na periferia do centro urbano e vilas.
Na cidade a recolha de resíduos domésticos será feita 4 vezes por semana, acrescida de dois dias para a recolha de biorresíduos; nas vilas, o serviço funciona 3 dias da semana, com uma semanal de biorresíduos complementada com compostagem individual e comunitária.
Nas freguesias a recolha de resíduos indiferenciados acontecerá 3 dias por semana e será complementada com compostagem comunitária e individual, numa primeira fase para dar resposta à separação dos biorresíduos.
Quanto aos biorresíduos não domésticos estão previstos 3 circuitos: um para recolha nos grandes produtores (empresas com cantinas), outro para recolha no sistema HORECA (hotéis, cafés e restaurantes) e um terceiro para recolha de resíduos verdes dos cemitérios.
O novo contrato «tem a vantagem de não ficar fechado, ou seja, caso seja necessário criar novos circuitos ou alargar os existentes este contrato permite que se faça», explica Hélder Pereira. O vereador do Ambiente acrescenta que este procedimento atenta às novas orientações estratégicas a nível nacional e legislação aplicável, no sentido de incluir diferentes fluxos de resíduos, com especial destaque na recolha de biorresíduos e nos vários serviços complementares: limpeza urbana, lavagem, higienização e manutenção de locais de deposição dos resíduos.
