Durante este mês de agosto, a iniciativa municipal “Vai à Vila em Festa” está a preencher e animar as tardes de domingo no centro da cidade, com a promoção de várias artes.
A iniciativa, quer termina este domingo, será animada, a partir das 15 horas, pela Tatu & CIA e, às 17 horas, decorre o concerto de Costinha.
O cantor famalicense lançou recentemente um novo álbum, intitulado “Saudades de ti”, no ano em que completa duas décadas de canções.
O “Vai à Vila” é uma iniciativa da Câmara Municipal que visa a animação do renovado centro da cidade.
O FC Famalicão recebe hoje, pelas 20h30, no Estádio Municipal, o Boavista, a contar para a terceira jornada da Liga. A equipa famalicense vai tentar a terceira vitória consecutiva no arranque de temporada, algo nunca conseguido na história do clube que, este mês, celebrou 93 anos de vida.
Sobre este adversário, Armando Evangelista disse, em conferência de imprensa, que o foco é a soma dos três pontos. «Queremos ganhar, queremos ser pressionantes. O Boavista sofreu apenas um golo, o que diz algo sobre a sua qualidade defensiva. São sinais de alerta para o que iremos encontrar amanhã, até porque foram competentes nos dois jogos que realizaram (uma vitória e uma derrota)», afirmou o treinador.
Recorde-se que o FC Famalicão soma duas vitórias, a primeira das quais frente ao Benfica, e ainda não sofreu nenhum golo neste arranque de campeonato e marcou cinco, apesar de ter alterado a sua frente de ataque, com as vendas de Puma Rodríguez e o Cádiz. O treinador frisou que este é o início sonhado e pelo qual trabalharam, «mas são apenas dois jogos e isso ainda não significa nada, apenas seis pontos na tabela».
Este arranque coincide também com o mercado aberto, que significa saída e entrada de jogadores. Recentemente, Luiz Júnior, guarda-redes, foi vendido (12 milhões de euros) e fala-se em Francisco Moura a caminho do FC Porto. Evangelista referiu apenas que o lateral-esquerdo «está feliz, treinou a semana toda, por isso não há razões para não estar na lista de convocados».
Ainda na conferência de imprensa realizada ao final da manhã desta sexta-feira, Armando Evangelista reiterou a confiança no plantel e nos reforços. «É certo que os jogadores que entraram têm características diferentes dos que saíram, mas todos têm valor. Devemos olhar para estes jogadores de forma a tirar o máximo de rendimento», sustenta, mantendo o foco sempre no próximo jogo, sem pensar muito a logo prazo, por causa dos «atropelos».
Normalmente os treinadores não gostam da época de transferências, pela instabilidade que pode criar. Armando Evangelista olha para estas notícias de duas formas: «como uma valorização que pode causar instabilidade ou de forma motivacional. Ter jogadores do Famalicão a serem apontados a grandes clubes é, na minha opinião, uma maneira de motivar o resto do grupo». E é, também, em termos coletivos que olha para a possibilidade de colocar o seu nome na história do clube, como sendo o primeiro a conseguir vencer as primeiras três partidas na I Liga. «Há que tirar proveito disso, sendo um ponto mais para a nossa estratégia de motivação para este jogo».
O encontro entre o Famalicão e o Boavista será arbitrado por David Silva que terá como assistentes Carlos Campos e Nuno Manso, enquanto João Pinho desempenhará as funções de 4.º árbitro. Na cabine do VAR, Manuel Mota estará responsável pela análise das decisões, assistido por Andreia Sousa como AVAR.
O Riba d´Ave Hóquei Clube vai disputar, em outubro, a edição 2024 da Elite Cup, competição da Federação de Patinagem de Portugal que reúne as melhores oito equipas da época passada.
O emblema ribadavense, fruto da excelente época transata, que terminou no oitavo lugar, integra a competição que será disputada no Multiusos de Odivelas. A descida do preço dos combustíveis anunciada esta sexta-feira, que previa uma redução de 4,5 cêntimos por litro na gasolina e 3,5 cêntimos no gasóleo, a maior deste ano, já não deverá acontecer. O Governo decidiu travar a queda dos preços ao descongelar parcialmente a taxa de carbono aplicada aos combustíveis, conforme uma portaria publicada hoje em Diário da República.
De acordo com o diploma, assinado pela secretária de Estado dos Assuntos Fiscais, a taxa do adicionamento sobre as emissões de CO2 será atualizada para 68,368 euros por tonelada, entrando em vigor já na próxima segunda-feira. Esta medida vem no contexto de “retomar o objetivo de promoção de uma fiscalidade verde e descarbonização da energia”, justifica o Governo, que aponta também para a recente evolução do preço dos combustíveis e o aumento dos preços das licenças de emissão de CO2.
A taxa de carbono tinha sido suspensa em dezembro de 2022 para aliviar o impacto do aumento dos preços dos combustíveis nas famílias e empresas. Após um descongelamento parcial em maio de 2023, o processo foi novamente interrompido em agosto. Agora, com a previsão de uma redução dos preços dos combustíveis, o Governo considera oportuno retomar a atualização da taxa.

Na tarde desta sexta-feira, um jovem famalicense viveu momentos de grande tensão ao ser arrastado por um agueiro na praia do Parque de Campismo, em Árvore, Vila do Conde. O famalicense, de 18 anos, estava na companhia de um amigo da Trofa, de 17 anos, quando ambos foram surpreendidos por fortes correntes numa zona não vigiada.
O incidente ocorreu por volta das 13h30, quando os dois jovens, que estavam a desfrutar de um dia de praia com um grupo de amigos, foram apanhados por um agueiro enquanto nadavam. Incapazes de sair da água pelos seus próprios meios, a situação rapidamente se tornou crítica.
O Nadador Salvador da praia vizinha, ao aperceber-se do perigo, acionou a Viatura 4×4 e a Moto 4×4 da Associação de Nadadores Salvadores (ANS) Os Golfinhos. Os profissionais entraram na água e, com rapidez e eficiência, conseguiram resgatar os dois jovens, levando-os em segurança para o areal.
Já em terra, os jovens foram avaliados pelos Nadadores Salvadores e acompanhados por um enfermeiro do projeto Salvamento Diferenciado da ANS Os Golfinhos, em parceria com as Câmaras Municipais da Póvoa de Varzim e de Vila do Conde. Ambos estavam sem sintomas e não necessitaram de tratamento hospitalar.
A circulação do trânsito automóvel, na Avenida Jorge Reis (N206) em Outiz, está a ser feita de forma alternada e com recurso a semáforos.
Esta alteração deve-se a trabalhos que estão a decorrer na via.
É expectável que a situação, que tem gerado algumas filas de trânsito, se mantenha ao longo dos próximos dias. Os condutores poderão, no entanto, procurar percursos alternativos para evitar os congestionamentos.
