A formação de Nikola Popovic deslocou-se, esta terça-feira, até ao Benfica Campus, na última jornada da fase de apuramento de campeão da Liga Revelação e venceu por 1-2.
O FC Famalicão adiantou-se no marcador à passagem do minuto 26, com um golo de Rudi Almeida; o Benfica reagiu no início da segunda parte, mas os famalicenses viriam mesmo a vencer com um autogolo de Vladimir Mendes.
Apesar da vitória famalicense, o título seguiu para Viseu que, nesta jornada, empatou com o Leixões 0-0, igualdade que viria a revelar-se importante; os viriatos acabaram com 32 pontos, mais um que o Famalicão.
Esta é a terceira vez que o FC Famalicão termina na segunda posição, onde já tinha ficado nas épocas 2024/2025 e 2022/2023.
Segue-se, ainda, a presença na Taça Revelação, ainda sem adversário definido.
Margarida Oliveira, natural da freguesia de Delães, venceu o campeonato distrital de solo dance, no escalão de iniciados. A atleta da secção de patinagem artística do Riba d´Ave HC alcançou o título no decurso do Campeonato Distrital de Patinagem Artística, organizado pela Associação de Patinagem do Minho.
A Margarida obteve 71,62 pontos numa prova que reuniu atletas de vários clubes da região. A jovem atleta já estava apurada para o Campeonato Nacional de Solo Dance.
O clube manifesta «o enorme orgulho nesta conquista» que, do seu ponto de vista, resulta da «dedicação e paixão» de Margarida Oliveira e do trabalho da equipa técnica, bem como do apoio da família.
No passado domingo teve lugar a 3.ª edição da Caminhada Solidária da Didáxis. A iniciativa reuniu dezenas de participantes movidos pelo desporto, saúde e solidariedade.
A dinamização da caminhada esteve a cargo dos alunos das turmas 1.º TDB e 2.º TDA do Curso Profissional de Desporto, com o apoio dos Cursos Profissionais de Cozinha/Pastelaria e de Restaurante/Bar, responsáveis pela receção dos participantes e pelo reforço alimentar disponibilizado ao longo do evento.
A totalidade do valor angariado reverte para a associação HumanitAVE, reforçando o seu carácter solidário.
Entre os participantes esteve o vereador da Educação da Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão. Pedro Oliveira sublinhou a importância do envolvimento das instituições locais em iniciativas de carácter social e educativo.
A organização agradece às entidades convidadas, bem como a todas as instituições e parceiros que apoiaram a realização da caminhada e ajudaram a unir esforços, fazendo a diferença através de um gesto coletivo de solidariedade.
«Famalicenses, como vos estou grato. Muito obrigado», manifestou o homenageado, dirigindo-se ao auditório, onde estavam amigos, advogados, sindicalistas, autarcas e antigos colegas de trabalho na Mabor, além de três cidadãos honorários de Famalicão: o comendador Carlos Vieira de Castro e os antigos presidentes da Câmara Municipal Agostinho Fernandes e Armindo Costa.
«É um privilégio sermos cidadãos deste concelho», enfatizou, a terminar a cerimónia que decorreu no dia 25 de abril.
O advogado e escritor, de 90 anos, que viu o seu percurso e legado reconhecidos pelos famalicenses, continua focado no futuro. Reconhecendo que o desenvolvimento industrial fez de Famalicão «uma pérola preciosa», pediu que os jovens e os agentes culturais se envolvam mais nas decisões do concelho.
Participaram na homenagem a Associação Portuguesa de Escritores, a Ordem dos Advogados Portugueses, a Câmara de Famalicão (representada pelo vice-presidente) e a Casa da Memória Viva, autora desta homenagem.
O autarca salientou «a dimensão e a projeção nacional» da obra literária de Salvador Coutinho, assim como o «prestígio» de que goza no meio judiciário; além da sua dimensão política, expressa, entre outras formas, como deputado municipal.
«O tempo, a congruência dos valores cívicos, a dedicação quase missionária à advocacia, a singularidade da técnica poética e, sobretudo, o poema não escrito que mais brilha na vida de Salvador Coutinho há muito justificavam um gesto de coletivo reconhecimento por parte da comunidade famalicense», defendeu Carlos de Sousa, da ACMV.
Nesta sessão de homenagem foi apresentado o seu mais recente livro, que reúne 71 poemas, que remetem o leitor para os anos de adolescência de Salvador Coutinho, vividos na Rua da Liberdade. No final houve uma conversa entre Salvador Coutinho e antigos moradores dessa rua. Esteve presente Vítor Paneira, antigo jogador de futebol que ali viveu e jogou muitas vezes.
Uma oportunidade para recordar o tempo em que aquela artéria tinha «duas padarias, três sapateiros, uma mercearia e um talho, um barbeiro, três tascos, um mecânico de bicicletas, uma recoveira, um alfaiate, um funileiro, uma loja de roupas e tecidos e uma fábrica têxtil, a fábrica de Sebastião Ferreira Mendes, que foi presidente do FC Porto. E, claro, a farmácia dos meus pais», descreveu Salvador Coutinho. Com saudades da pujança de outros tempos, várias pessoas deixaram críticas por causa dos problemas arquitetónicos, sociais e de planeamento e pediram intervenção da Câmara.

O homem, natural de Valbom, Gondomar, que tinha ficado em estado grave após um despiste seguido de capotamento, na madrugada do último sábado, em Ribeirão, Famalicão, acabou por morrer no hospital.
Depois do acidente, foi transportado em estado crítico para o Hospital de Braga, onde viria a falecer.
O funeral realiza-se esta quinta-feira, pelas 11h30, na Igreja da Lapa, no Porto.
O acidente ocorreu por volta das 04h30, na Rua da Fonte, estando ainda por esclarecer as causas do despiste.
