Na tarde de domingo, a partir das 16h30, o Rancho Folclórico de Oliveira Santa Maria realiza uma desfolhada tradicional.
A iniciativa, aberta a sócios, amigos e familiares, decorre na eira de Cimo da Oliveira, junto ao café Nova Vaga. O grupo promotor promete uma tarde de tradição e animação.
A famalicense Vanessa Carvalho, campeã nacional dos 5 mil metros, é a madrinha da nona edição da Meia Maratona de Famalicão.
A prova, que se realiza na manhã do dia 15 de outubro, é apresentada esta segunda-feira, nos Paços do Concelho.
Além da Meia Maratona, também há uma Minimaratona, de 10km, ambas com partida na Av. do Brasil e chegada ao Parque de Estacionamento junto ao Citeve. Os interessados podem inscrever-se até 10 de outubro, no site da organização, em www.runporto.com. O percurso será o mesmo do ano passado.
Recorde-se que em 2022, Hélio Gomes (Sporting) e Dulce Félix (Benfica) venceram a prova. Na corrida de 10 km venceu Hugo Santos (Salgueiros) e a famalicense Jéssica Pontes (Team El Comandante).
Os vereadores do Partido Socialista sugerem que a Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão ofereça os cadernos de atividades a todos os alunos do Primeiro Ciclo do Ensino Básico, e não só aos dos dois primeiros anos, como acontece até agora.
Na proposta do PS, que foi entregue nos serviços municipais, para ser discutida na reunião do executivo municipal, os vereadores solicitaram que esta medida seja incluída nas Grandes Opções do Plano e Orçamento para 2024.
Recorde-se que o Município de Vila Nova de Famalicão oferece os cadernos de atividades de Português, Matemática e Estudo do Meio aos alunos do 1.º e 2.º anos de escolaridade, e o caderno de atividades de Inglês aos alunos do 3.º ano. Não beneficiam deste apoio (exceto a inglês) os alunos que frequentam o 3.º e 4.º ano de escolaridade. Enquanto que o Governo português disponibiliza manuais escolares gratuitos a todos os alunos que frequentam o ensino público ou estabelecimentos de ensino particular com contrato de associação.
Para justificar esta medida, o PS menciona o atual contexto de crise económica atual.
Em comunicado, os socialistas realçam que o Primeiro Ciclo do Ensino Básico é o nível de ensino em que as crianças tomam contacto, de modo mais sistematizado, com a aprendizagem de novos conhecimentos e competências, adquirindo capacidades fundamentais para a participação ativa na sociedade e a aprendizagem ao longo da vida. «Neste nível de ensino a prática de exercícios de leitura, escrita e de raciocínio é fundamental para o sucesso educativo dos alunos», sublinham.
«Para tal, é muito importante que os alunos tenham disponíveis materiais pedagógicos de exercícios e atividades impressos, não só porque nem todos têm acesso generalizado aos recursos digitais, mas também porque tal facilita o desenvolvimento pedagógico e cognitivo, a inteligência prática e a inteligência linguística das crianças, mas também porque nem todos os alunos têm acesso generalizado aos recursos digitais», apontam.
Eleito, em julho passado, para um novo mandato, Nuno Neves decidiu deixar a presidência do Famalicense Atlético Clube. O seu vice-presidente, Carlos Filipe Vieira de Castro, passa a dirigir o clube. Carlos Filipe, para além de dirigente foi e é atleta do clube, integrando a equipa de veteranos de hóquei em patins.
Num comunicado que o clube publicou nas redes sociais, Nuno Neves escreve que a sua decisão é «de ordem pessoal», pela sua menor disponibilidade «para continuar a lidar com todas as pressões inerentes ao cargo» que ocupou durante dois anos e meio.
O ex-dirigente, que serviu o clube, em vários cargos, durante 14 anos, acredita que a sua saída «contribuirá para a estabilidade» e permitirá ao Famalicense «manter-se no patamar exigido». A saída de Nuno Neves era já falada há cerca de três semanas e, agora efetivada, espera «que todos os diretores continuem a assumir este desafio e que proporcionem as condições para manter a união e o caráter eclético do clube».
E termina o comunicado lavrando a «muita honra que tive em presidir e dedicar grande parte da minha vida ao FAC».
Vem aí mais uma alteração do preço dos combustíveis.
De acordo com fontes do setor, a descida, a registar-se na próxima segunda-feira, deverá rondar os 4 cêntimos por litro no caso do gasóleo e os 6 cêntimos por litro no caso da gasolina.
O Município de Famalicão tem em curso uma campanha para novas adesões à fatura eletrónica e/ou débito direto das faturas da água, saneamento e resíduos. Quem aderir será premiado com a oferta de um kit ambiental.
A campanha, limitada ao stock existente, decorre até ao final do mês de novembro e a adesão deve ser feita nos serviços comerciais do departamento de Ambiente.
“O ambiente não pode pagar fatura” é o mote desta iniciativa lançada pela autarquia famalicense que pretende estimular comportamentos sustentáveis, quer pela poupança no papel quer pela oferta do kit ambiental que é composto por um saco de pano, uma garrafa de alumínio reutilizáveis e um funil para a deposição e reciclagem dos óleos alimentares.
