Duas turmas do 10.º ano da Escola Secundária D. Sancho I participaram no projeto «Somos nós», uma criação artística produzida por Aldara Bizarro. O trabalho desenvolvido pelos alunos vai culminar num espetáculo a ser apresentado no dia 5 de novembro, pelas 21h30, na Casa das Artes.
Os alunos da Escola D. Sancho I, juntamente com um grupo de profissionais de dança contemporânea, vídeo e música, analisaram a diversidade cultural que existe na Escola D. Sancho I, compondo o trabalho que vai ser apresentado na Casa das Artes. De acordo com Maria Helena Pereira, diretora do agrupamento de escolas, a iniciativa tratou-se de «uma oportunidade única de poder trabalhar com estes alunos uma área tão importante para a formação deles, enquanto cidadãos». «Estes projetos trabalham com os nossos alunos competências muito para além das competências formais – as competências do conhecimento – e isso foi extremamente importante e significativo para a nossa escola», acrescentou.

Sancho I e na Casa das Artes de Vila Nova de Famalicão.
A Proteção Civil vai acionar às 18h00 desta sexta-feira, o alerta amarelo de prontidão do dispositivo de proteção e socorro em todos os distritos – exceto Beja e Faro -, devido ao risco de inundações e cheias. De acordo com dados do IPMA, citados pela Proteção Civil, o período mais crítico na região norte e centro, decorre a partir das 18h00 de hoje, com um agravamento até às 6h00 de sábado. Depois haverá um desagravamento, mas o tempo volta a piorar no domingo e segunda-feira, dia 1 de novembro.
Num ‘briefing’ à comunicação social sobre as previsões meteorológicas e os efeitos expectáveis, Mário Silvestre, adjunto de operações da ANEPC, avançou que o alerta amarelo (terceiro mais grave de uma escala de cinco) vai estar ativo até às 23:59 de segunda-feira.
Mário Silvestre disse que a subida do estado de alerta especial de proteção e socorro para todos os distritos, à exceção de Beja e Faro, deve-se ao agravamento das condições meteorológicos, nomeadamente chuva intensa, prevendo-se que o fenómeno seja mais intenso a norte e centro.
A União de Freguesias de Lemenhe, Mouquim e Jesufrei e a União de Freguesias de Arnoso e Sezures vão acolher uma das novas zonas de expansão empresarial, enquanto que Lousado e a União das Freguesias de Esmeriz e Cabeçudos vão receber o outro espaço. As propostas para a delimitação das unidades de execução foram discutidas, esta quinta-feira, na reunião do executivo municipal. Os projetos apresentados cedem ainda opções de melhoramento das acessibilidades e da mobilidade nestas zonas do concelho.
Para o presidente da Câmara Municipal, Mário Passos, a constituição das duas zonas de expansão empresarial é «uma excelente notícia para o território». «Vila Nova de Famalicão é reconhecido a nível nacional e internacional como terreno fértil para o investimento e para o crescimento de empresas e indústria. Com estes novos enquadramentos industriais, estamos a criar condições de excelência para a instalação de mais empresas no nosso concelho, o que significa mais emprego, mais qualificação e melhor qualidade de vida», notou.
O presidente destacou a importância da reestruturação das acessibilidades e mobilidade associada à elaboração destas zonas. «Estamos a providenciar o ambiente ideal para o sucesso da atividade empresarial, aproveitando a oportunidade para criarmos uma completa rede de infraestruturas de transporte e comunicação que permitirá uma rápida ligação entre as empresas, os seus fornecedores e clientes».
A primeira zona vai posicionar-se perto do nó de acesso à A3, em Cruz, e vai ocupar uma área de mais de 150 mil metros quadrados. O desenvolvimento do espaço vai melhorar as acessibilidades da área norte do concelho, com a criação de uma alternativa viária à EM 571-1 e reconfiguração do Nó de Acesso à A3. A concretização desta alternativa vai traduzir-se numa melhoria ao nível das condições de circulação entre a via Municipal, a EN14 e o acesso à autoestrada.
O espaço que vai surgir em Lousado e na União das Freguesias de Esmeriz e Cabeçudos vai abranger uma área de 333.379 metros quadrados. A criação desta zona vai permitir o reparcelamento e a infraestruturação de um espaço urbanizável, destinado à construção do novo terminal ferroviário de mercadorias da Medway e à instalação de atividades económicas. Além disso, de acordo com as propostas apresentadas, vai ser desenvolvida uma infraestrutura viária, entre a EM508-1 e a Linha do Minho, que vai ceder condições de acessibilidades ao interface e aos terrenos das atividades económicas, e um novo acesso a norte, para suprir a exclusão do caminho existente.
