Na próxima semana os termómetros não devem ultrapassar os 26 graus de máxima na região.
De acordo com a previsão do Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera, a vai contar com sol e algumas nuvens, sendo que em grande parte dos dias a máxima que deve ser atingida é de 25 graus.

Fonte do gabinete do antigo Presidente disse à Lusa que o estado de Jorge Sampaio “está estável” e que “as dificuldades respiratórias continuam a ser acompanhadas pela equipa médica que o segue”, sem adiantar mais pormenores.
O ex-presidente Jorge Sampaio foi internado no hospital de Santa Cruz, em Lisboa, na sequência de dificuldades respiratórias.
Segundo a fonte, Sampaio estava no Algarve, mas após sentir dificuldades respiratórias, e “dado o seu historial de doente cardíaco”, foi transferido para Lisboa, onde está a ser acompanhado no Hospital de Santa Cruz.
Jorge Sampaio tem 81 anos e foi Presidente da República durante dois mandatos, entre 1996 e 2006.
Em 1989 foi eleito líder do Partido Socialista e na mesma altura foi eleito presidente da Câmara de Lisboa, tendo sido reeleito em 1993.
Após a passagem pela Presidência da República, foi nomeado em 2006 pelo secretário-geral da Organização das Nações Unidas enviado especial para a Luta contra a Tuberculose e entre 2007 e 2013 foi alto representante da ONU para a Aliança das Civilizações.
Atualmente preside à Plataforma Global para os Estudantes Sírios, fundada por si em 2013 com o objetivo de contribuir para dar resposta à emergência académica que o conflito na Síria criara, deixando milhares de jovens para trás sem acesso à educação
Na abertura do 23.º Congresso Nacional do PS, no Portimão Arena, António Costa elogiou os portugueses em geral “pelo extraordinário sentido cívico” com que têm enfrentado a covid-19 e “pela forma extraordinária como, vencendo as agruras, os receios, todas as campanhas, confiaram na ciência e confiaram na vacinação como grande arma para vencer esta pandemia”.
“E o que dizer desse extraordinário exemplo de maturidade cívica que nos têm dado as nossas crianças e os nossos jovens, que neste fim de semana, se tudo correr bem, vão permitir chegarmos ao final de domingo com 70% das crianças e jovens entre os 12 de os 17 anos com a primeira dose da vacina contra a covid-19? Que extraordinário exemplo e grande lição para todos nós”, acrescentou.
António Costa referiu que graças à adesão da população, Portugal pode orgulhar-se de ser “um dos países do mundo com maior taxa de vacinação” contra a covid-19.
A vacinação generalizada dos jovens de 16 e 17 anos começou em 14 de agosto.
Em 10 de agosto, a Direção-Geral de Saúde (DGS) recomendou também a vacinação universal das crianças e jovens entre os 12 e os 15 anos, deixando de a restringir a casos considerados de risco, que teve início no dia 21.
Em Portugal, desde março de 2020, já morreram mais de 17 mil pessoas com covid-19 — que hoje o secretário-geral do PS e primeiro-ministro recordou, no seu discurso de abertura do Congresso de Portimão — e foram contabilizados mais de um milhão de casos de infeção com o novo coronavírus, segundo a DGS.
Um primeiro grupo, de 18 pessoas, chegou ao aeroporto de Lisboa durante a madrugada em voo fretado e o segundo, de 19, aterrou em Lisboa, já hoje de manhã, num avião C295 da Força Aérea, acrescentou a mesma fonte.
Estes grupos juntam-se a um outro de 24 cidadãos afegãos, e suas famílias, que colaboraram com as forças portuguesas que nos últimos anos estiveram em missão no Afeganistão, no aeroporto da capital.
A retirada deste grupo de afegãos segue-se à tomada do poder, em Cabul, dos talibãs, que levou milhares de pessoas a aglomerar-se no aeroporto para tentar deixar o país.
Os 24 cidadãos afegãos que trabalharam com as Forças Nacionais Destacadas portuguesas para o Afeganistão, assim como os seus familiares, chegaram na sexta-feira, por volta das 21:15, ao aeroporto de Lisboa, em resultado de uma missão de resgate feita por quatro militares portugueses que estiveram em Cabul.
No total, segundo o ministro da Defesa Nacional, João Gomes Cravinho, terão sido retirados 58 cidadãos afegãos, que chegam a Portugal entre hoje e domingo.

Nas unidades hospitalares, número de internados desceu este sábado, há menos 18 camas ocupadas nos hospitais, havendo agora um total de 657 pacientes hospitalizados. Destes, 143 são considerados doentes graves.
Em paralelo à sua atividade operacional diária, a Guarda Nacional Republicana realizou durante esta semana um conjunto de operações que, refere em comunicado, visaram a prevenção e o combate à criminalidade e à sinistralidade rodoviária e também a fiscalização de diversas matérias de âmbito contraordenacional.
Na sequência destas diligências foram detidas 303 pessoas em flagrante delito, com a GNR a detalhar que 137 destas detenções ocorreram por condução sob o efeito de álcool, 76 por condução sem habilitação legal, havendo ainda a registar 14 detenções por furto, 13 por tráfico de droga e nove por posse de arma ilegal ou posse de arma proibida.
Entre os dias 20 e 26 de agosto a GNR apreendeu ainda doses de vários estupefacientes nomeadamente 265,58 doses de haxixe, 104,6 de heroína, 66,35 de cocaína e 23,6 de liamba.
O conjunto de operações realizadas pela GNR resultou também na apreensão de 11 viaturas, 13 armas de fogo, mais de 1.100 munições de diversos calibres e 12 armas brancas ou proibidas.
No âmbito da fiscalização rodoviária foram detetadas 7.783 infrações, das quais 2.455 por excesso de velocidade, 498 por falta de inspeção periódica obrigatória, 444 por condução com taça de álcool no sangue superior ao permitido por lei e ainda 327 por falta ou incorreta utilização do cinto de segurança e/ou sistema de retenção para crianças e 249 por uso indevido de telemóvel durante a condução.
