Tem 16 anos e é de Vila Verde o jovem que, ao final da tarde deste sábado, ficou gravemente ferido na perna depois de ter sido atingido pela hélice de uma embarcação, na Albufeira da Caniçada, Gerês.
As informações são avançadas pelo jornal Terras do Homem, de Vila Verde, que refere ainda que o jovem foi transportado para o Hospital de S.João, no Porto.

A Rádio Cidade Hoje é a rádio de Vila Nova de Famalicão mais ouvida e surge em posição de destaque na Área Metropolitana do Porto (AMP), indica o estudo de audiência da Marktest (3ª vaga / 2021).
A mais antiga estação de rádio do concelho famalicense conseguiu um share de audiência de 0,8% na Área Metropolitana do Porto, um resultado que se deve ao crescimento da marca Cidade Hoje, em especial a norte da AMP. A par deste resultado, soma ainda um share de 0,3% no litoral norte.
Em termos comparativos, e analisando a audiência na AMP ao pormenor, a Cidade Hoje registou um share superior ao de outros projetos de maior dimensão, difundidos através de várias frequências ao longo do território nacional, como são exemplo a Record FM (0,5%), a Rádio Observador (0,4%), SBSR (0,4%), Vodafone FM (0,4%), Rádio SIM / Maria (0,3%) e Rádio Meo Sudoeste (0,3%), sendo que também tem o dobro do share do segundo canal da rádio pública, a Antena 2 (0,4%), emitida por todo o país através de quase 40 frequências.
A Cidade Hoje consegue, ainda, registar uma maior audiência que várias rádios locais que emitem a partir de concelhos da AMP (Rádio Voz de Santo Tirso, Rádio Onda Viva, Rádio Linear, Jornal FM, Rádio 5, Rádio Estádio, Rádio Clube Paços de Ferreira, entre outras).
No que concerne ao litoral norte, a Cidade Hoje regista um share de audiência superior a uma das rádios locais de Guimarães (Fundação FM), à rádio local de Vila Verde (Voz do Neiva), de Braga (Antena Minho) e de Viana do Castelo (Rádio Alto Minho e Geice FM).
De Vila Nova de Famalicão a Cidade Hoje é a única rádio que surge no estudo da Marktest. A outra rádio do concelho, a Fama Rádio que, ao contrário da Cidade Hoje, emite no FM a partir de duas frequências, não é mencionada no estudo. A estação do grupo Editave, com pouco mais de um ano e que veio substituir a Digital FM, chegou a ter um share de 0,7% e agora não surge nesta terceira vaga de audiências, nos estudos Litoral Norte e Grande Porto da Marktest.
A Junta de Freguesia de Lousado está a estudar forma de tornar a Rua da Indústria mais segura para os condutores, obrigando-os a reduzir a velocidade e, por conseguinte, a cumprir o código da estrada.
Em declarações à Cidade Hoje, o presidente da junta refere que as boas condições da estrada levam a que muitas vezes se circule em excesso de velocidade. Jorge Ferreira lamenta os acidentes que se registaram nesta última semana. Embora desconheça em que circunstâncias estes se deram, o autarca refere que vai procurar, em conjunto com a Câmara Municipal, uma solução que trave aqueles que possam tentar circular acima da velocidade permitida por lei.
Nos últimos dias naquela via, e depois de um longo período sem registo de acidentes, duas pessoas ficaram feridas com gravidade e uma outra faleceu.
A Rua da Indústria é uma estrada com grande fluxo de trânsito uma vez que funciona como um dos acessos principais para a zona industrial da freguesia, onde trabalham milhares de pessoas.
A unidade de Vila Nova de Famalicão do Centro Hospitalar do Médio Ave tem registado um decréscimo no número de doentes internados por Covid-19.
Ao que a Cidade Hoje conseguiu apurar, neste sábado, 14 de agosto, no hospital local apenas existiam 5 pessoas internadas por complicações de saúde provocadas pelo novo coronavírus.
Este número agora revelado acompanha a tendência de novos casos de infeção registados em Vila Nova de Famalicão que também está em queda.
