Foi apresentada este sábado, no Auditório da União de Freguesias de Famalicão e Calendário, a ACAFADO – Associação Cultural e Artística Famalicão Fado.
Esta nova associação, liderada pelo fadista famalicense Joaquim Macedo, propõem-se a realizar uma série de ações relacionadas com a divulgação e ensino deste estilo musical português.
Na apresentação, Joaquim Macedo revelou que a ACAFADO está à procura de um espaço para se instalar de forma definitiva, com o objetivo de arrancar com o projeto da escola de fado.
Para já, nesta fase inicial, a ACAFADO tem instalações na Rua António Cerejeira da Silva, em Calendário, Vila Nova de Famalicão. As iniciativas que esta associação organize e que sejam abertas ao público, ou necessitem de um espaço amplo, deverão realizar-se no auditório da União de Freguesias de Famalicão e Calendário.
Segundo estatísticas divulgadas hoje pelo Pordata, que passa a ter um capítulo sobre “Ambiente, Energia e Território”, Portugal é “o segundo país da União Europeia cujas famílias consomem menos energia final ‘per capita'”, com 281 quilogramas equivalentes de petróleo, cerca de metade da média da União Europeia (551) e muito abaixo dos que mais consomem, os finlandeses (1.020).
No que toca aos resíduos, a produção ‘per capita’ de resíduos de atividades económicas e agregados familiares em Portugal é a terceira menor dos 27, apesar de ter vindo a aumentar, exceto nos anos de crise entre 2010 e 2013.
De acordo com os números do Pordata, a produção de resíduos municipais em 2019 foi de 5,2 toneladas ‘per capita’, enquanto a média da União Europeia foi 224,5.
Por outro lado, em Portugal há das mais baixas taxas de reutilização de materiais em novas cadeias de valor, situando-se nos 2,2 por cento, face a uma média europeia de 11,9%.
Apenas 8,2% dos alimentos produzidos em Portugal em 2019 vieram de áreas de agricultura biológica, que cresceram de 5,5% em 2012.
Apontando ao Acordo de Paris para limitação do aquecimento global, o Pordata destaca que o compromisso das nações contribuírem 100 mil milhões de dólares por ano até 2020 para ajudar os países de menos rendimento a limitarem as suas emissões poluentes está fora de alcance.
A contribuição portuguesa, salienta, é cada vez menor, começando com 9,5 milhões de euros em 2014 e ficando-se nos 900 mil euros em 2019.
O Pordata destaca que 85% dos portugueses é servido por estações de tratamento de águas residuais com tratamento secundário, incluindo a remoção de material orgânico, uma percentagem que triplicou entre 2002 (27%) e 2017 e constitui o segundo maior nível de evolução nos 20 países europeus que reportaram dados.
Um reflexo dessa melhoria é o facto de 96% de todas as praias da costa portuguesa terem – em dados de 2019 – qualidade de água excelente, acima da média da UE (88,4%), bem como 76,7% das águas balneares do interior.
Esgotaram em cerca de 30 minutos os 882 bilhetes disponíveis para o primeiro concerto das Festas Antoninas 2021, em formato “Anima-te”.

A final Regional do Concurso de Empreendedorismo – Isto é uma Ideia IOT decorreu na última quarta-feira, dia 2 de junho. A iniciativa, desenvolvida pelo CITEVE e pelo Município de Vila Nova de Famalicão, no âmbito do projeto Pense Industria i4.0, concretizou-se em formato online. A Escola Júlio Brandão, a Escola de Gondifelos e a Didáxis ocuparam os três primeiros lugares da final regional.
Em concurso estiveram 19 equipas e nos primeiros três lugares posicionaram-se Os Verdes, da Escola Júlio Brandão, os M4iot, da Escola de Gondifelos, e os Fast Dragons, da Didáxis, respetivamente. Estas três equipas ficaram apuradas para a fase nacional do concurso que vai realizar-se no dia 16 de junho.
O Partido Socialista apresenta oficialmente este sábado, às 21 horas, o candidato à Câmara nas próximas autárquicas, Eduardo Oliveira. A sessão pública está marcada para o Eugénios, evento que será transmitido online, através das páginas do candidato e do PS Famalicão no Facebook.
“Um concelho para todos” é o slogan que os socialistas adotam nesta fase de lançamento da campanha, e que poderá também ser vista na rua através dos outdoors. Até ao princípio do Verão, serão apresentadas as listas em todas as freguesias e uniões de freguesias do concelho.
Além do candidato, que preside há ano e meio à Comissão Política Concelhia dos socialistas famalicenses, a sessão de apresentação contará, entre outros, com o secretário-geral adjunto do PS, José Luís Carneiro, e do presidente da Federação Distrital de Braga do partido, Joaquim Barreto.
Hélder Melo vai, ainda este mês, fazer o caminho francês até Santiago de Compostela, uma peregrinação que tem na sua base uma causa solidária. Quer angariar 10 euros por cada quilómetro percorrido e com o dinheiro comprar camas elétricas para idosos da ATC, instituição de Joane.
Este peregrino, de 49 anos de idade, tem pela frente 800 km, desde Saint Jean Pierre Port até à Praça do Obradoiro em Santiago de Compostela. Uma jornada que pretende percorrer em 30 dias, de forma «solitária mas solidária».
Hélder Melo é colaborador da ATC e já participou na organização e como peregrino em várias peregrinações organizadas por esta instituição joanense.
Recorde-se que a ATC tem já uma larga experiência na realização dos Caminhos de Santiago, tendo acompanhado centenas de peregrinos, dos mais diferentes pontos do país e até mesmo vindos de outas partes do mundo. Mas, devido às restrições causadas pela pandemia, tiveram de ser cancelados.
A pandemia também está na base da decisão deste peregrino. Ao deparar-se com as dificuldades financeiras sentidas pela instituição, que teve mais gastos com aquisição de material de proteção individual, e ao ver o impacto do isolamento na saúde dos utentes, tanto a nível motor como cognitivo, Hélder Melo decidiu colocar os pés ao caminho.
O projeto deste peregrino chama-se “No Caminho pela ATC”. Pensa percorrer cerca de 25km por dia, ao longo de um mês. Pode acompanhá-lo na sua página de facebook (“no caminho pela ATC”).
