O Núcleo de Famalicão da Iniciativa Liberal promove este sábado, pelas 13h30, num restaurante da cidade, um “Almoço Liberal” que terá a presença de Tiago Mayan, candidato apoiado pelo partido às Eleições Presidenciais.
Durante o encontro será possível assinar a ficha de candidatura para que Tiago Mayan seja opção no boletim de voto, uma vez que ainda decorre a campanha de angariação de assinaturas.

No dia 28 de setembro de 1835, sete homens tiveram a ousadia de criar o concelho de Famalicão. Perante o desconhecido e rodeados de imensas dificuldades foram em frente; volvidos 185 anos, os famalicenses voltaram a reunir-se para olhar em frente. Em Vilarinho das Cambas, o presidente da Câmara e um punhado de outros autarcas falaram do passado mas sobretudo das ambições do futuro.
Uma ideia personificada na entrega dos Selos Visão`25. «Tantos os que concorreram é um sinal num contexto de dificuldade: de que vivemos num território que acredita, num território arrojado, que é audaz, que vai à luta. Desta forma, homenageiam-se os sete heróis de há 185 anos e, tal como nessa altura, hoje a esmagadora maioria dos famalicenses arregaça as mangas, não vira a cara à luta, olha de frente os problemas e as dificuldades, são empreendedores. Trazem propostas para a comunidade como aquelas que aqui hoje evidenciamos (Selos Visão`25); são exemplo do muito de bom que, num contexto particularmente difícil, se tem feito no nosso concelho», compara o presidente da Câmara Municipal de Famalicão, Paulo Cunha.
A cerimónia de comemoração do Dia do Concelho aconteceu em Vilarinho das Cambas, de forma contida, com transmissão via facebook, para cumprir as normas da Direção Geral da Saúde. Conforme o sorteio, a sessão do próximo ano será na União de Freguesias de Arnoso (Santa Maria e Santa Eulália) e Sezures.
O presidente da Câmara Municipal de Famalicão realçou que a descentralização das cerimónias é a prova de que também há condições nas freguesias, algo «que era impensável que acontecesse nesta freguesia há uns anos atrás», referiu.
Mas a ambição não saiu só das palavras do presidente da Câmara. Também a autarca de Vilarinho das Cambas, que falou na qualidade de anfitriã, referiu-se a necessidades da freguesia. «Queremos acesso a transportes públicos, que são escassos; terrenos com capacidade construtiva para fixar as gentes desta terra; as estradas municipais que atravessam a freguesia estão congestionadas de trânsito e é necessário requalificar o piso e criar passeios para que a circulação de veículos e pessoas se faça em segurança», pediu Judite Costa. Falou também da necessidade de terminar a rede de saneamento e na criação de um parque de lazer para que a população possa usufruir.
O presidente da Câmara, que discursou depois, reconheceu que nem tudo está feito no concelho de Famalicão e mostrou-se satisfeito por ver autarcas ambiciosos.
Vilarinho das Cambas, conhecida durante anos como freguesia rural, é hoje, como evidenciou a autarca, um território de forte pujança industrial que ombreia com os que lhe estão próximos. Aliás, uma das principais áreas industriais do concelho está nesta zona de Famalicão. Paulo Cunha também falou desta pujança industrial que faz do concelho notado a nível nacional. «Portugal espera muito do nosso concelho: da nossa capacidade de exportar, da capacidade de produzir, da capacidade de empregar, da força das nossas associações, da dinâmica dos nossos cidadãos. Daqui vão resultar muitas outras ações que, num contexto de algum esmorecimento em alguns setores, vão ser uma marca de água daquilo que o país precisa fazer no seu todo para que seja bem-sucedido», apontou o autarca famalicense.

Não foi só o Clube Desportivo de Lousado, também o Ruivanense Atlético Club recebeu a certificação da Bandeira da Ética, pelo Instituto Português do Desporto e Juventude e pelo Plano Nacional de Ética no Desporto. Em causa o projeto “#Gosto quando dizes”, uma iniciativa conjunta do Ruivanense e do Lousado, levada a cabo em fevereiro de 2020.
“#gosto quando dizes” é um apelo à ética e à participação positiva no desporto, envolvendo atletas, pais e outros agentes do desporto; a ponto de fazer transbordar o projeto para uma dimensão nacional. Isso deixa, naturalmente, orgulhosos os responsáveis do Ruivanense atlético Club porque simboliza o reconhecimento pelo trabalho desenvolvido.
O Ruivanense já tinha sido reconhecido como entidade formadora desportiva (pela Federação Portuguesa de Futebol) e agora recebe a Bandeira da Ética. Dois planos que «confirmam o reconhecimento, o sucesso e a plena execução do plano desportivo da estrutura do futebol de formação do Ruivanense Atlético Club, em marcha desde a época transata, e que lançam excelentes perspetivas para as medidas e projetos em curso, que esta pandemia mundial fez, momentaneamente, suspender, mas que não irá parar», refere o Ruivanense.
Este clube de Ruivães dá, ainda, nota de que projetos como estes e parcerias como a que foi estabelecida com o CD Lousado são para continuar e podem ultrapassar as fronteiras de Famalicão.
Edwin Herrera assinou por uma temporada pelo Futebol Clube de Famalicão.
O colombiano, de 22 anos, lateral, vem do Independiente de Santa Fé.
Destacou-se na equipa principal do emblema de Bogotá, pelo qual disputou a Liga Colombiana e a Copa Sul-Americana. Os desempenhos no Independiente de Santa Fé valeram ainda a chamada à seleção sub-23 da Colômbia, cuja equipa representou no Torneio Pré-Olímpico.
«Famalicão tem pergaminhos na educação de que não abdica, não abdicamos da qualidade e da exigência, mas abrimos portas à diversidade», referiu o presidente da Câmara ao anunciar que brevemente Famalicão terá o teatro no ensino articulado, sendo que o projeto de acreditação já está em curso.
Este anúncio foi feito na terça-feira pelo presidente da Câmara após assistir a uma aula de dança, lecionada pelo Conservatório de Dança de Famalicão, nas instalações do Centro de Investigação, Inovação e Ensino Superior, em Vale S. Cosme.
Recorde-se que a dança já faz parte, desde este ano letivo, do ensino articulado.
Paulo Cunha está muito satisfeito com os passos dados no ensino artístico e especializado. «Famalicão é, desde há muitos anos, reconhecido pelos estímulos e pelas boas-práticas no âmbito do ensino articulado. Primeiro foi a música, onde nos distinguimos como um dos concelhos do país com mais alunos inscritos. Agora temos a dança, um projeto que está a ser muito bem-sucedido e que surge fruto desta interação que mantemos com as associações», analisou.
Para Marta Soares, do Conservatório de Dança de Famalicão, «este ensino articulado da dança, com a certificação por parte do ministério da educação, era uma ambição desde há algum tempo. Trata-se de uma medida importante para os alunos que vêm somar à formação académica, a formação artística da dança».
Também o presidente da Junta de Freguesia de Vale S. Cosme, Bernardino Martins se mostrou satisfeito com as mais-valias que o ensino articulado da dança traz para a freguesia.
Ao todo, vinte e cinco alunos do 5.º e do 7.º ano do concelho de Vila Nova de Famalicão estão, neste ano letivo de 2020/2021, a frequentar o ensino artístico e especializado da dança, em regime articulado.
A PSP deteve, esta segunda-feira, pelas 15 horas, na cidade de Famalicão, um homem com 50 anos de idade, sobre quem pendia um mandado de detenção pelo crime de violência doméstica.
