Os bombeiros voluntários famalicenses foram chamados, na tarde deste domingo, para o combate às chamas num carro, estacionado nas proximidades do cemitério de Vale S.Cosme.
O alerta para a Rua da Igreja foi dado cerca das 16h40, sendo que para o local foram mobilizados dois veículos e oito voluntários.
Não há registo de feridos, apenas danos materiais.
A GNR esteve no local e tomou conta da ocorrência.
Sérgio Gomes tomou posse, na tarde deste domingo, como comandante dos Bombeiros Voluntários de Famalicão.
A cerimónia decorreu no quartel desta associação humanitária de Vila Nova de Famalicão.
Sérgio Paulo Pereira Gomes é natural da freguesia de Antas, em Vila Nova de Famalicão, e tem já uma longa relação de colaboração com os B.V.Famalicão. Em 1994 inscreveu-se como cadete e, ao fim de quase 26 anos, assume o cargo de comandante deixado por Pedro Alves em novembro deste ano.
Não me arrependo de ter tomado a decisão de abraçar este desafio. Faço-o pelo amor que tenho a esta associação.
Realizou-se este domingo a festa de natal dos Bombeiros Voluntários de Riba d’Ave.
Este encontro entre todos os elementos que fazem parte desta associação humanitária, sediada na vila de Riba d’Ave, ficou marcado pela chegada de duas novas viaturas. Os veículos, que em breve vão estar ao serviço da comunidade, são destinados ao transporte não urgente de doentes.
Com esta prenda de natal, os Bombeiros Voluntários de Riba d’Ave entram no novo ano com uma maior e melhor capacidade de resposta, dando também um maior conforto e segurança aos doentes transportados nestes dois novos veículos.
Para hoje, o Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera (IPMA) prevê uma diminuição muito significativa da intensidade do vento e precipitação em geral fraca apenas nas regiões Norte e Centro, podendo ser de neve nos pontos mais altos da Serra da Estrela.
Até meio da tarde de hoje, o vento soprará ainda moderado a forte, até 50 quilómetros hora, e nas terras altas, em especial do Norte e Centro, com rajadas até 100 quilómetros hora.
A partir de segunda-feira, e até ao fim de semana, o IPMA prevê céu em geral pouco nublado, apresentando-se temporariamente muito nublado nas regiões Norte e Centro no final do dia de Natal e na quinta-feira, com possibilidade de precipitação fraca.
Existem condições para formação de neblina ou nevoeiro matinal – que poderão ser persistentes em alguns locais – e o vento será, em geral, fraco.
A agitação marítima manter-se-á elevada na costa ocidental até meio da manhã de segunda-feira.
Devido à agitação do mar, as zonas costeiras dos distritos de Coimbra, Aveiro, Porto, Braga e Viana do Castelo mantêm-se, até às 12:00 de hoje, com ‘aviso vermelho’ – o mais grave de uma escala de quatro -, passando então a ‘aviso laranja’.
Na Madeira, a semana terá, até sábado, a influência de um anticiclone localizado na região entre o norte de África e Portugal continental, enfraquecendo no dia de Natal e na quinta-feira, permitindo a aproximação e passagem de uma superfície frontal fria.
O IPMA prevê para a Madeira céu com períodos de muita nebulosidade, com possibilidade de ocorrência de precipitação na quarta e na quinta-feira.
O vento será em geral fraco predominando do quadrante oeste, tornando-se do quadrante leste a partir de quinta-feira, intensificando para moderado. Nas terras altas, o vento será fraco a moderado, por vezes forte até à véspera de Natal.
A agitação marítima manter-se-á elevada no arquipélago até ao final do dia de hoje, tendo sido emitido um alerta amarelo para as zonas costeiras.
O coordenador nos Açores do IPMA, Carlos Ramalho, disse, em declarações à Lusa na sexta-feira, que os próximos dias no arquipélago serão de “inverno rigoroso”.
“Nos próximos dias, até pelo menos ao dia de Natal, e até mesmo uns dias depois, vamos ter dias de inverno rigoroso. Podemos até ter intervalos onde o tempo esteja relativamente melhor, com um clima bom, e depois alguns períodos onde o vento sopra com mais intensidade e com chuva por vezes forte”, frisou.
Hoje, os Açores terão a passagem de um sistema frontal com chuva em todas as ilhas e, na segunda-feira, uma superfície frontal fria irá provocar chuva no grupo oriental.
Segundo Carlos Ramalho, vai passar também pelos Açores uma nova depressão, ainda sem designação, na véspera de Natal, que provocará um aumento da intensidade da chuva e do vento.
“No dia 24, uma depressão, que vem de sul, irá provocar um aumento da intensidade do vento e da chuva, que será por vezes forte, principalmente nos grupos central e oriental”, adiantou, realçando que no dia 25 já se deve registar uma “melhoria do tempo”.
Realizou-se na noite deste sábado a festa de natal dos Bombeiros Voluntários Famalicenses.
O momento serviu para unir a família guita, num jantar de confraternização, onde foram apresentadas três novidades.
Contrariamente ao que se esperava, o Pai Natal chegou primeiro aos Bombeiros Voluntários Famalicenses.
O homem das barbas brancas trouxe consigo um novo VFCI, meio utilizado para o combate de incêndios florestais, e um reboque com capacidade de transportar até três veículos.
Houve também o regresso ao quartel de uma viatura que foi afastada depois de ter sofrido um acidente, no centro da cidade.
Um jovem do sexo masculino ficou em estado grave, na sequência de uma colisão entre dos veículos, ocorrida cerca das 23h30, na estrada nacional 206, que liga Famalicão à Póvoa.
Ao que a Cidade Hoje conseguiu apurar, a colisão aconteceu nas proximidades do Restaurante Terra Negra, na freguesia de Negreiros, Barcelos.
Para o local foram acionados os Bombeiros Voluntários de Viatodos, a Cruz Vermelha de Macieira de Rates e a VMER da unidade de Vila Nova de Famalicão do Centro Hospitalar do Médio Ave.
O ferido foi levado pela Cruz Vermelha de urgência para o Hospital de Braga.
