A PSP deteve esta sexta-feira, em Braga, um homem de 63 anos por detenção de arma ilegal, no âmbito da investigação de um processo-crime de violência doméstica, anunciou aquela força.
Em comunicado, a PSP acrescenta que apreendeu a arma, uma pistola de fabrico artesanal, bem como diversas munições.
O detido vai ser levado ao Tribunal Judicial da Comarca de Braga.
Os preços dos combustíveis vão sofrer um decréscimo na próxima semana, que será mais acentuado no caso da gasolina. Mantém-se, assim, a tendência de descida que já se verificou na semana passada.
O preço da gasolina será o que desce mais, cerca de três cêntimos e meio por litro, segundo apurou o Notícias ao Minuto junto de fonte do setor. Já o gasóleo deverá ficar mais barato dois cêntimos.

É a sétimo ano – o sexto consecutivo – que a mensagem da coordenadora do Observatório dos Municípios Familiarmente Responsáveis é recebida em Vila Nova de Famalicão, o que coloca o município em grande destaque ao nível do reconhecimento independente das políticas de apoio à família com a obtenção de sete bandeiras de reconhecimento em nove possíveis.
Os programas de apoio às famílias, promovidos pelo município, transversais a todas as faixas etárias, desde a infância à terceira idade, não passam despercebidos às instâncias nacionais que acompanham as melhores práticas das autarquias portuguesas em matéria de responsabilidade familiar. É o caso do alargamento da atribuição das fichas e manuais escolares aos alunos do concelho, da promoção do desporto de reabilitação para as pessoas que sofrem alguma patologia neurológica, músculo-esquelética, respiratória ou oncológica, mas também da criação do Gabinete de Avaliação e Intervenção em Comportamentos Aditivos e Dependências (GAICAD), um organismo multidisciplinar que atua no âmbito da saúde mental e que oferece respostas e ajuda gratuita a quem precisa. Estes foram apenas alguns dos novos argumentos apresentados este ano, que se juntam às inúmeras medidas de apoio à família já existentes.
Para o presidente da Câmara Municipal, Paulo Cunha “as medidas de apoio à família têm, acima de tudo, como objetivo valorizar a família, enquanto alicerce da comunidade, criando condições para que possa desempenhar o nobre papel de cuidar dos seus e, assim, contribuir decisivamente para o desenvolvimento de uma comunidade mais feliz e com maior qualidade de vida”.
Neste sentido “receber este galardão pela sétima vez e pelo sexto ano consecutivo é um enorme motivo de orgulho, pois representa o reconhecimento nacional pela política de família global e integrada, que privilegia a concretização de medidas socialmente eficazes, na melhoria da qualidade de vida dos seus munícipes”.
Ao todo o Observatório das Autarquias Familiarmente Responsáveis distinguiu setenta municípios.O observatório avalia iniciativas dos municípios em 12 áreas, entre as quais o apoio prestado à maternidade e paternidade, o apoio às famílias com necessidades especiais, medidas de conciliação entre trabalho e família, serviços básicos, educação, habitação, transportes, saúde, cultura, desporto e tempo livre e participação social.
Na candidatura apresentada, o município de Vila Nova de Famalicão destaca as várias vertentes de intervenção, nomeadamente as políticas orientadas para todas as famílias do concelho, no apoio à sua função de suporte aos filhos mas também aos pais e avós, e ainda às ações destinadas a agregados familiares mais desfavorecidos económica e socialmente, através de ajudas específicas e personalizadas a vários níveis.
Assim, no domínio da educação, para além da oferta dos manuais escolares gratuitos ao 1. E 2.º ciclo sobressai a existência de um terceiro escalão social de apoio às famílias com crianças no pré-escolar e 1.º Ciclo de Ensino Básico (que acresce aos dois escalões nacionais), o Banco de Livros Escolares, os transportes gratuitos, o apoio à aquisição de material didático por parte das famílias mais carenciadas e as bolsas de estudo aos estudantes universitários do concelho.
Na área social destaca-se o Programa Municipal “Casa Feliz” que ajuda as famílias mais carenciadas do concelho a realizarem obras de renovação das suas habitações e que apoia as famílias que mais precisam no pagamento das rendas, assim como os descontos e isenções nas tarifas de água e saneamento para as famílias numerosas e para as mais necessitadas.
Em matéria fiscal, é uma reconhecida mais-valia para as famílias a estabilidade fiscal do município ao longo dos anos, a fixação da taxa do IMI próxima do mínimo legal (0,35%) e a existência de um IMI familiar, que atribui um desconto no pagamento do imposto de 40 euros para as famílias com dois filhos e de 70 euros para as famílias com três ou mais dependentes.
O acesso das famílias à fruição cultural e à prática desportiva tem também merecido uma atenção especial da autarquia que tem instituído o Cartão Jovem Municipal, o Cartão Sénior Feliz e o Cartão do Voluntário com descontos significativos em diversas atividades e no acesso aos transportes públicos no concelho, para além de outros benefícios.
Recorde-se que o Observatório das Autarquias Familiarmente Responsáveis é uma iniciativa da Associação Portuguesa de Famílias Numerosas, em parceira com Instituto da Segurança Social, tendo como principais objetivos acompanhar, galardoar e divulgar as melhores práticas das autarquias portuguesas em matéria de responsabilidade familiar.
Uma viatura ficou virada ao contrário no acesso da garagem do Edifício Europa, na Avenida Dr. Carlos Bacelar, no centro de Vila Nova de Famalicão. A situação aconteceu pouco depois das 14h00.

De acordo com testemunhas no local, o carro terá galgado o passeio até cair de um pequeno muro, que separa o espaço destinado aos peões do acesso à garagem do prédio.
Catorze alunos e dois professores romenos estão a realizar um estágio na Escola Profissional CIOR, na área da eletrónica e automação.
Este estágio está a decorrer desde o passado dia 5 e vai até ao próximo dia 23, integrado no Programa Erasmus +.

Jorge Paulo Oliveira defendeu no Parlamento a criação de um subdestacamento territorial da GNR em Famalicão. Interrogado pelo deputado famalicense, o Ministro Eduardo Cabrita não respondeu.
Segundo Jorge Paulo Oliveira, este modelo de gestão traria para o concelho unidades importantes como o Núcleo de Investigação Criminal e o Núcleo de Proteção do Ambiente; permitiria reforçar o quadro de efetivos e proceder a uma reabilitação do posto da GNR.
