Dois jovens de Vila Nova de Famalicão estão no centro de um caso com alta exposição mediática. São acusados, juntamente com dois bracarenses, de violar duas jovens espanholas em Gijón, no verão de 2021.
Em tribunal, os quatro negaram todas as acusações e afirmaram que “tudo aconteceu com o consentimento das duas mulheres”. A defesa fala em “provas claras”, incluindo um vídeo, que, segundo o advogado, mostram relações sexuais consentidas.
A advogada das jovens sustenta o contrário e fala em “violação coletiva”, pedindo penas de até 22 anos de prisão e indemnizações superiores a 25 mil euros.
O Ministério Público espanhol propôs penas mais baixas, mas também considera haver crime: dez anos de prisão para um dos famalicenses e cinco para o outro. Ambos estiveram detidos preventivamente no Centro Penitenciário das Astúrias.
O caso aguarda agora a decisão final do tribunal de Gijón.

Mais 300 consultas gratuitas de psicologia a doentes oncológicos e a familiares diretos foram garantidas, nos últimos dois anos, pela Câmara Municipal.
