No passado sábado, as seniores da AA Didáxis começaram o Campeonato Nacional – Divisão de Honra com uma vitória no recinto do Colégio de Gaia B.
As atletas da AA Didáxis estiveram na frente do marcador durante quase todo o jogo, consumando a vitória, por 25-21.
A Divisão de Honra é uma prova bastante competitivo e começar com uma vitória fora é um importante tónico para os difíceis confrontos que se avizinham.
Nesta partida de abertura, realce para a prestação global da equipa, tanto no capítulo ofensivo como defensivo e os 5 golos marcados pelas atletas Francisca Araújo, Cecília Mendes e Cátia Ferreira. Na próxima jornada a AA Didáxis vai voltar a jogar em Riba de Ave, no pavilhão da Didáxis, às 17 horas, com a receção ao ND Santa Joana – Maia.
Durante o passado fim de semana, o Comando Distrital da PSP, no decurso da sua atividade operacional de prevenção e combate à criminalidade, efetuou várias detenções em Famalicão.
Uma por desobediência. No caso, um jovem de 21 anos, que desrespeitou a medida de coação que lhe havia sido aplicada, de obrigação de permanência na habitação.
No decurso de uma ação de fiscalização rodoviária, na cidade de Vila Nova de Famalicão, foram detidas duas pessoas, com 20 e 27 anos de idade, que conduziam um veículo sem habilitação legal para o efeito.
Outros dois detidos, de 43 e 35 anos, conduziam com taxa de alcoolemia superior à permitida por lei. Submetidos ao teste, acusaram uma TAS de 1,61 e 1,75 g/l no sangue, respetivamente.
Nove pessoas foram detidas numa operação realizada pela Polícia Judiciária (PJ), que teve como objetivo desmantelar uma rede criminosa ligada ao tráfico de drogas. A ação aconteceu em várias localidades, incluindo Vila Nova de Famalicão, e visava grupos que abasteciam laboratórios de produção de drogas no norte, centro e sul de Portugal.
A operação, em investigação desde o início do ano pelos Departamentos de Investigação Criminal de Braga e Leiria, focou-se numa célula operando no norte do país, responsável pela aquisição de produtos químicos usados na produção de drogas. Além disso, a organização tinha ligações internacionais e importava cocaína disfarçada em cocos, enviada por empresas de fachada a partir de um país da América do Sul.
Foram realizadas buscas em várias localidades, que resultaram na apreensão de cerca de 830 kg de pasta de cocaína, grandes quantidades de químicos e vários equipamentos. Além disso, foram confiscados mais de 31 mil euros, veículos e armas. Um laboratório de produção de drogas foi igualmente desmantelado.
Os detidos foram apresentados a tribunal e ficaram em prisão preventiva.
Ao início da tarde desta segunda-feira, um homem com cerca de 50 anos terá caído de um andaime, numa obra no Loteamento dos Quintais, em Vale S. Cosme.
A vítima é considerada grave e foi transportada ao hospital de Famalicão. No socorro esteve a VMER de Braga e uma ambulância dos BV Famalicenses e dois operacionais.
As causas deste acidente, cujo alerta foi dado às 13h54, ainda estão por apurar.
Na tarde do próximo domingo, às 15h30, o FC Famalicão recebe o CD Nacional, partida da sétima jornada da Liga Portugal Betclic.

Segundo presidente da Concelhia, os candidatos federativos apoiaram a realização do Congresso em Ribeirão «em sinal do reconhecimento do trabalho efetuado pelo PS de Vila Nova de Famalicão e da unidade que a estrutura local vai galvanizando, a partir das eleições que decorreram no passado mês de julho» e que determinaram a reeleição de Eduardo Oliveira que liderou a única lista que se submeteu a sufrágio.
