No próximo domingo, dia 23 de junho, a Associação de Dadores de Sangue de Vila Nova de Famalicão promove uma Colheita de Sangue na Sede dos Escuteiros do agrupamento nº 442 de Oliveira Sta. Maria, com o apoio da Junta de Freguesia.
A colheita, aberta à população em geral, será realizada entre as 09h00 e as 12h30 pelo Instituto Português do Sangue e da Transplantação.
A Associação de Boccia Luís Silva arrecadou o bronze no Campeonato Nacional de Pares Bc3 Boccia 2023/24 por intermédio de Luís Silva/Vânia Pinheiro e Rui Silva/Emília Pinto. O Campeonato decorreu no passado fim de semana, em Cantanhede.
O treinador/atleta Luís Silva sublinha que foi uma época muito positiva para a Associação, e vira já o foco para o próximo campeonato nacional individual absoluto, nos dias 22 e 23 de junho, em Torres Novas. Esta competição contará com dois atletas famalicenses: Luís Silva na 1.ª divisão e Rui Silva na 2.ª divisão.
A Associação de Boccia Luís Silva tem como grande objetivo, entre outros, proporcionar aos indivíduos portadores de deficiência motora de V.N. Famalicão e arredores o acesso à prática de atividades desportivas.
O cantor famalicense Costinha lançou recentemente um novo álbum, intitulado “Saudades de ti”, no ano em que completa duas décadas de canções.
No passado sábado esteve CIDADE HOJE Rádio, no programa As Nossas Raízes, com este novo trabalho discográfico editado pela Espacial, do qual fazem parte treze canções que seguem a sua linha de cantor romântico e pop. Deste álbum fazem parte temas como Abraça-me, Saudades de ti, Maria, Alma gémea, Perdoa-me, Espera por mim, De novo sozinho, Eu te amo, Viver esse amor, Dizer adeus e O teu olhar; mas também inclui, O bar do Zé gago e A minha aldeia.
Para além de muitas atuações agendadas para este ano, Costinha também vai promover dois concertos para celebrar os vinte anos de carreira; o primeiro será na tarde do dia 15 de setembro (domingo), no Parque de Merendas de Avidos – V. N. de Famalicão, para o qual convida mais de três dezenas de artistas amigos, com quem se tem cruzado em palco. O segundo será no Teatro Sá da Bandeira, no Porto, a 3 de novembro (domingo) com a sua banda, também com alguns convidados. Neste concerto, Costinha vai, ainda, prestar homenagem a cantores que partilharam consigo gravações comerciais e que já faleceram. A União Desportiva de Calendário reúne em Assembleia Geral no dia 6 de julho, na sede social. A reunião está marcada para as 14h30 e da ordem de trabalhos consta a apresentação e votação do relatório de contas da época 23/24; apresentação e votação do plano de atividades; e discussão de outros assuntos de interesse para a coletividade.
A assembleia realiza-se na hora marcada, desde que sessenta por cento dos sócios estejam presentes, caso contrário terá início trinta minutos depois.
Este domingo registou-se uma maior afluência de condutores nos postos de combustível. Em Vila Nova de Famalicão, durante o período da tarde, chegaram a existir filas para abastecer, nomeadamente nos postos low cost.
O aumento de forma acentuada do preço do gasóleo é a principal razão para a ‘corrida’ que se verificou. Recordamos que o principal combustível utilizado em Portugal deverá subir 4 cêntimos por litro esta segunda-feira, a gasolina também deverá ficar mais cara, cerca de 1.5 cênt. p/litro.
Um homem, com cerca de 40 anos, morreu, na madrugada deste domingo, à porta de um prédio, localizado no centro da cidade de Vila Nova de Famalicão.
O alerta foi dado por um popular, cerca das 04h00, que viu o homem ensanguentado, prostrado no patamar de entrada de um dos prédios da Rua Ana Plácido.
Para o local foram acionados os Bombeiros Voluntários Famalicenses e a PSP.
O óbito veio a ser declarado no local e o cadáver foi transportado para a morgue do Hospital de Famalicão.
As circunstâncias em que tudo aconteceu não foram reveladas, no entanto, fonte do socorro adiantou à nossa redação que a vítima teria ferimentos compatíveis com uma queda e que não haveria indícios de crime.
