
Famalicão: Na Escola Básica de Antas cantou-se Abril


O artista famalicense Fernando Marques encerrou, na Praia das Caxinas, em Vila do Conde, os seus trinta anos de carreira nas artes.
Dezenas de pessoas, num fim de tarde com sol, céu limpo e mar calmo, enfrentaram um vento gélido, para assistirem ao evoluir da obra.
O amigo João Cidade recordou o percurso do artista que teve início há mais de 30 anos no “penico”, o icónico Café do Parque (ou da Rotunda). Já a sobrinha, Beatriz Marques, fez saber que “o tio é um MAR de emoções e um artista cheio de talento”.
Marques contou, ainda, com a colaboração do músico Diamantino Monteiro e da dançarina cubana, Ana Zamora, e do filho, que o ajudaram a descontrair, enquanto pintava. Só não conseguiram distraí-lo, a avaliar pelo resultado final.
Marques pintou a sua obra embalado pelas ondas do mar e pela música de vários artistas, tendo concluído, enquanto ouvia a “Canção do Mar”, na voz de Dulce Pontes e “Serenade”, de Franz Schubert, no som do trombone de Diamantino Monteiro.
A iniciativa contou, entre outros, com o apoio da Câmara Municipal de Vila do Conde e da Junta de Freguesia de Modivas e com a presença do vereador da Cultura de Famalicão, Pedro Oliveira, assim como da presidente da Junta de Modivas – Vila do Conde.
O artista de Gavião encerrou as comemorações do 30º aniversário da sua carreira, depois de um ano cheio de iniciativas, com um sentimento de gratidão a todas as pessoas, entidades e empresas que o apoiaram e promete continuar a por o seu talento ao serviço das artes e da cultura.
As irmãs Mariana Silva e Inês Silva, respetivamente campeã e vice-campeã nacional, estiveram no Campeonato Europeu Feminino de Xadrez que decorreu, de 19 a 29 de abril, em Rodes, na Grécia.
Depois de terem jogado o Europeu Feminino de 2023, em Petrovac (Montenegro), Mariana e Inês regressaram aos tabuleiros entre as melhores da Europa, com objetivos de subida no Elo e de aquisição de maior experiência internacional, num ano em que ambas deverão integrar a seleção nacional feminina nas Olimpíadas de Budapeste.
Mariana Silva, esta época ao serviço do Vitória SC, posicionou-se em 91.º lugar e totalizou 5 pontos em 10 jogos realizados. Ao estabelecer uma performance de 2095 pontos elo FIDE, equivalentes a um ganho de 42,2 pontos de elo FIDE, classificou-se 46 lugares à frente do número de ordem inicial (137.º cabeça de série).
A Mestre FIDE Inês Silva, atleta que veste as cores do clube famalicense CX A2D desde a época 2012/2013, terminou o Europeu em bom estilo ao vencer na 10.ª ronda e totalizando, assim, 4 pontos. Ao alcançar a 147.ª posição conseguiu classificar-se 6 lugares à frente do número de ordem inicial (153.º cabeça de série) e ganhou 1 ponto de elo FIDE.
O Clube de Xadrez A2D agradece à Associação Académica da Didáxis, à Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão pelo patrocínio à atleta Inês Silva, bem como, pelo apoio da Federação Portuguesa de Xadrez nesta participação internacional que reuniu mais de 182 jogadores de 33 países.
Um homem morreu atropelado, cerca das 16h40 desta segunda-feira, na A7, em Famalicão.
O atropelamento aconteceu na freguesia de Oliveira Sta Maria, ao quilómetro 31, sentido Guimarães – Famalicão.
A vítima foi socorrida no local pelos Bombeiros de Guimarães e a VMER de Famalicão, no entanto, o óbito acabou por ser declarado no local.
Em mais uma jornada dos campeonatos concelhios de futsal da AFSA, que não contemplou a 1.ª divisão, no escalão secundário a AD Esmeriz destaca-se na frente da classificação.
A 17.ª jornada da 2.ª divisão trouxe algumas mudanças na pontuação. A principal prende-se com o afastamento do líder Esmeriz sobre a concorrência mais direta. O Esmeriz venceu a Adere, por 4-0, em jogo antecipado, e assistiu à derrota do segundo classificado, o Riba d´Ave HC, no terreno do Lousado, por 6-3. Com esta derrota, os ribadavenses ficaram a 7 pontos do primeiro lugar e têm o Lousado a espreitar o segundo posto, dado que a distância entre ambos é de apenas um ponto.
A cinco jornadas do fim, está acesa a luta pela promoção ao escalão superior. Refira-se que os dois primeiros são promovidos diretamente enquanto o terceiro vai disputar, num play off, a duas mãos, a subida com o penúltimo classificado da 1.ª divisão.
A Jasp, 4.º classificado, perdeu também na receção à Flor do Monte (2-4) e ficou numa posição delicada para alcançar o pódio, pois viu o Lousado a distanciar-se, estando agora a 4 pontos da turma de Lousado. Já o triunfo da Flor do Monte permitiu à equipa subir uma posição na tabela, é agora 9.º classificado (14 pontos).
O Novais venceu a Arpo, por 4-3, e manteve o 5.º lugar, com 26 pontos, enquanto a Arpo desceu à 10.ª posição (com 12 pontos).
A Adere manteve o 6.º lugar (17 pontos), enquanto o Louredo, que venceu o Miradouro, por 1-2, ascendeu ao 7.º lugar, com 16 pontos. O Miradouro é último classificado, com 4 pontos. Por fim, o Gavião, que folgou nesta jornada, ocupa a 8.ª posição, com 14 pontos. Próxima jornada, dia 1/05: Riba d´Ave HC-Miradouro, Arpo-Gavião, Flor Monte-Novais, Adere-Jasp e Louredo-Esmeriz. Lousado folga.
Cajada mais perto do título de veteranos
Com a vitória no terreno da Acura (1-7), o Cajada está cada vez mais perto do título. A quarto jornadas do final, tem 11 pontos sobre o atual segundo classificado, o Pedome, que venceu a Outeirense, por 2-8, e ultrapassou o Grac na tabela classificativa. Refira-se que a equipa de Cruz folgou.
Assim, o Pedome é segundo com 46 pontos, mais um que o Grac, terceiro classificado. A derrota da Outeirense não teve consequência na classificação, na medida em que a equipa de Pousada é 5.º com 30 pontos. A Acura é 9.º com 26 pontos.
Quem caiu na tabela classificativa foi também a Oliveirense. A derrota diante das Lameiras (3-0) relegou a equipa de Oliveira Santa Maria para o quarto lugar, com 44 pontos. As Lameiras subiram duas posições, são agora sétimos classificados com 26 pontos.
O Bairrense venceu o 1.º de Maio, por 5-1, e entregou a lanterna vermelha à turma de Requião. A equipa de Gavião é 11.º com 10 pontos, já a de Requião tem 8 pontos.
Refira-se que os jogos Covense-Barrimau e S. Mateus-Esmeriz foram adiados para data a designar. O Covense está na 6.ª posição (27 pontos); o S. Mateus é 8.º com 26; o Esmeriz 10.º com 18 pontos; e o Barrimau 12.º com 8 pontos.
A primeira divisão regressa sábado com os seguintes jogos: Pedome-Lameiras, Grac-Bairrense, 1.º Maio-Acura, Cajada-S. Mateus, Esmeriz-Outeirense, Oliveirense-Covense. Barrimau folga.
