O maior aquário móvel da Europa, com 14 metros de comprimento, 22 mil litros de água e mais de 10 espécies diferentes de peixes, é a grande atração do segundo Encontro Concelhio Eco Escolas que vai decorrer esta quinta-feira, na freguesia de Bairro. A iniciativa, promovida pela Câmara Municipal, vai juntar cerca de 1500 crianças na Quinta Pedagógica, entre as 10h00 e as 16h00.
Estão planeadas diversas atividades lúdicas e pedagógicas promovidas por vários serviços municipais e parceiros da autarquia, entre workshops, ações de sensibilização, oficinas e jogos. Serão abordados temas como a reciclagem, o bem-estar animal, alimentação saudável, a agricultura, entre outros.
Recorde-se que Vila Nova de Famalicão é o concelho do país com mais Eco-Escolas com 72 instituições educativas galardoadas pelo trabalho desenvolvido no ano letivo passado.
O Município promove no próximo domingo, na Praça – Mercado Municipal de Famalicão, mais uma campanha de adoção de árvores e arbustos.
A iniciativa vai decorrer entre as 10h00 e as 13h00 e cada munícipe poderá adotar até três plantas.
Serão distribuídas cerca de duas mil árvores de fruto e arbustos aromáticos: Tomilhos, Alfazemas, Alecrins, Medronheiros, Pessegueiros, Macieiras, Pereiras, Cerejeiras e Ameixoeiras.
As espécies escolhidas visam a promoção da biodiversidade, em particular os insetos polinizadores e a alimentação sustentável e saudável.
Recorde-se que a Câmara Municipal duplicou a meta ambiental traçada para a reflorestação do concelho, assumindo o compromisso de plantar 60 mil árvores no território até 2030.
Sérgio Silva, atleta de Ribeirão, sagrou-se, esta segunda-feira, vice-campeão europeu no Campeonato de Masters, que decorreu em Torún, na Polónia
O atleta, de 38 anos, fez o segundo melhor salto em comprimento, com 6.75. Deste modo, repetiu o feito alcançado em 2022.
Recorde-se que o atleta, em representação da Associação Cultural e Recreativa da Sr.ª do Desterro, conquistou vários títulos no Campeonato Nacional de Pista Coberta Master, que se realizou em Pombal, em fevereiro passado: venceu no salto em comprimento, triplo salto, salto em altura e 60m barreiras, no escalão de M35; e foi vice-campeão nos 4x200m, no mesmo escalão.
A Entidade Reguladora da Saúde (ERS) suspendeu a atividade de uma clínica de fisioterapia em Famalicão. A medida foi tomada após a deteção de um fisioterapeuta que atuava na clínica sem as habilitações necessárias para exercer a função.
O profissional em questão realizava diversos procedimentos, como o tratamento de ruturas, estiramentos e entorses de tornozelo e joelho, sem a formação legalmente exigida. A situação colocava em risco a saúde dos pacientes, podendo causar danos graves e irreparáveis.
Quatro meses após a suspensão da atividade, a clínica de Famalicão regularizou a situação, contratando um fisioterapeuta devidamente qualificado. Após confirmar que a situação ficou resolvida, a ERS permitiu que a clínica retomasse o seu funcionamento normal.
O FC Famalicão já tem definidos os dias e horas dos jogos a disputar até à jornada 32 da Primeira Liga. Na sexta-feira, dia 29 de março, às 15h30, joga em Barcelos, com o Gil Vicente, para na ronda seguinte, a 28.ª jornada, receber o Vizela, às 15h30, do dia 6 de abril. O jogo com o Porto, no Estádio do Dragão, está marcado para o dia 13 de abril, às 18 horas. Dias depois, no dia 16, às 20h15, recebe o Sporting, partida em atraso da jornada 20.

A Câmara Municipal da Trofa lançou a segunda oferta pública para aquisição de 100 imóveis, em construção ou a construir, no âmbito do Programa 1º Direito. O investimento é superior a 15 milhões de euros, mas com apoio do Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (PRR).
A autarquia trofense pretende adquirir 40 habitações tipologia T1, 40 habitações tipologia T2 e 20 habitações tipologia T3. O prazo para apresentação de propostas termina a 15 de abril de 2024.
A proposta surge no seguimento do acordo de colaboração celebrado entre a Câmara Municipal da Trofa e o IHRU – Instituto da Habitação e da Reabilitação Urbana e nos termos da 2ª Revisão da Estratégia Local de Habitação.
Os 100 fogos habitacionais já edificados ou a construir devem reunir as condições de habitabilidade adequadas, independentemente das mesmas se encontrarem prontas a habitar ou careçam da realização prévia de obras de reabilitação, no âmbito do Programa 1.º Direito — Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (PRR), Investimento RE -C02 -i01 — Programa de Apoio ao Acesso à Habitação.
