O ciclista famalicense, depois de representar a Hagens Berman Axeon e a Cofidis, está de regresso ao pelotão nacional para representar a Sabgal-Anicolor.
André Carvalho fez apenas uma época no pelotão nacional pela então Liberty-Carglass, sendo segundo da juventude na Volta ao Algarve e quarto na classificação da única Volta a Portugal em que participou.
Como corredor do World Tour, esteve em dois Mundiais (2021 e 2023) e num Europeu (2023) pela Seleção Nacional, dois Paris-Roubaix e duas Voltas à Flandres pela Cofidis, e despediu-se da equipa francesa com a estreia na Volta a Espanha deste ano.
Em declarações reproduzidas pelo jornal O Jogo, André Carvalho, de 26 anos, enfrenta o novo desafio com o propósito de cumprir «os objetivos pessoais e os que me forem propostos pela equipa» de Águeda.
O empate da Outeirense, a dois golos, em casa da Adespo, fez com que o campeão em título se atrasasse na luta pela liderança. No jogo, a equipa de Pousada de Saramagos foi para o intervalo na frente do marcador, 2-1, mas no segundo tempo não foi conseguiu segurar a vantagem e a partida terminou empatada, fruto da atitude da Adespo que correu atrás do prejuízo e acabou por ser feliz.
Quem beneficiou foi o Pedome. O líder da classificação recebeu e venceu o Landim, por 3-1, e aumentou a diferença para 4 pontos. O Pedome soma 15, a Outeirense segue com 11 e a Adespo tem 10. O Landim é penúltimo, com apenas 2 pontos.
O Grac é o 4.º classificado, com 9 pontos, tal como o Mal. O Grac venceu o lanterna vermelha da 1.ª divisão, o Barrimau, por 3-2; já o Mal foi a Ruivães bater o Covense, por 2-1, sendo que a equipa de Ruivães está abaixo da linha de água (4 pontos).
O Castelões regressou às vitórias, 2-0, na deslocação difícil a Avidos e ascendeu à 6.ª posição. A turma de Avidos desceu ao 7.º lugar, com 7 pontos.
De sublinhar ainda a vitória do S. Martinho sobre a Aderm. Com este triunfo, o S. Martinho somou a sua segunda vitória (8.º lugar, 6 pontos), ultrapassou o adversário na classificação e empurrou a Aderm para a nona 9.º posição, com 4 pontos.
Na 6.ª jornada, a realizar no sábado, dia 9, estão alinhadas as seguintes partidas: Pedome-Adespo, Castelões-Landim, Mal-Acura, Barrimau-Covense, Outeirense-Aderm, S. Martinho-Grac.
Flor do Monte e Esmeriz disputam troféu Torneio de Abertura da 2.ª divisão
Estão definidos os finalistas do Torneio de Abertura da 2.ª divisão. Flor do Monte e Esmeriz vão decidir quem será o vencedor do primeiro troféu da temporada. Se a Flor do Monte era favorita da Série A para ser apurada para finalíssima, pois na última jornada recebia a Arpo, equipa já sem possibilidades de ser apurada, na Série B o Esmeriz acabou por surpreender o Louredo no jogo decisivo.
As duas equipas tinham os mesmos pontos, com vantagem do Louredo, no goal average, mas no confronto direto, o Esmeriz desfez as dúvidas e garantiu a presença na final, ao vencer por 2-3.
Já a Flor do Monte confirmou o favoritismo e venceu a Arpo, por 6-1. Ainda na série A, a Adere, que acalentava esperanças em chegar à final, bateu o Novais por 2-1, enquanto o Lousado derrotou o Miradouro (5-3). Nesta série, a classificação final ficou assim definida: 1.º Flor do Monte, 13 pontos; 2.º Adere, 13 pontos; 3.º Novais, 9 pontos; 4.º Lousado, 6 pontos; 5.º Arpo, 3 pontos; 6.º Miradouro, 0 pontos.
Na série B, o Gavião empatou a duas bolas com o Riba de Ave HC, enquanto a Jasp folgou. Na série B a classificação final ficou assim ordenada: 1.º Esmeriz, 10 pontos; 2.º Louredo, 9 pontos; 3.º Jasp, 4 pontos; 4.º Riba de Ave HC, 3 pontos; 5.º Gavião, 1 ponto.
A final entre a Flor do Monte e o Esmeriz está agendada para sábado, dia 9, às 16 horas, no polidesportivo do Novais.
Eficácia do Cajada arranca triunfo em Ruivães
Em veteranos, o Cajada continua a sua caminhada triunfal, mas na jornada da passada sexta-feira teve alguma sorte para levar de Ruivães os 3 pontos. Num jogo de tripla que acabou por cair para a turma de Cabeçudos, depois do Covense ter desperdiçado várias oportunidades para assumir a liderança do marcador. O Cajada foi eficaz e terminou o tempo regulamentar com um triunfo importante sobre um adversário direto na luta pelo título. Esta é já a sexta vitória consecutiva da equipa do Cajada, que assim lidera a classificação deste escalão, com 18 pontos, mais 6 que o adversário direto, a Oliveirense. A formação de Oliveira Santa Maria não jogou nesta jornada em virtude da partida com o Esmeriz ter sido adiada. Refira-se que o Covense é 6.º com 6 pontos.
O Pedome subiu à 3.ª posição, com 11 pontos, ao vencer em casa o Barrimau, que está no 11.º posto, com 3 pontos.
As Lameiras também deram um ligeiro salto na classificação e estão já na zona de apuramento para a Taça MKA, ocupando o 4.º lugar. Subida essa em resultado da vitória categórica sobre o 1.º de Maio, por 7-2. As Lameiras têm 9 pontos, enquanto o 1.º de Maio é 13.º classificado com apenas 1 ponto.
O Bairrense-Acura tinha sido antecipado e foi ganho pela equipa visitante, por 2-3. Com este triunfo, o Acura é 10.º com 4 pontos, já o Bairrense é 12.º, com 3. O jogo Outeirense-Grac foi também adiado. Por fim, S. Mateus folgou nesta jornada.
Na próxima sexta-feira, dia 8, disputa-se a 7.ª jornada, com os seguintes jogos: Grac-Lameiras, 1.º Maio-Covense, Oliveirense-Pedome, Barrimau-Outeirense, Esmeriz-Acura, S. Mateus-Bairrense. Cajada folga.

A curta-metragem “O Abafador” (2023), de Silvana Torricella, em torno do tema da eutanásia, é a grande vencedora da competição do festival Ymotion 2023.
O vencedor foi conhecido na sessão de encerramento da 9.ª edição, que aconteceu no passado sábado, dia 2 de dezembro, na Fundação Cupertino de Miranda.
A vereadora da Juventude realçou a dimensão do festival. «Temos verificado cada vez mais qualidade e criatividade nas curtas-metragens apresentadas a concurso», referiu Luísa Azevedo. «O Ymotion tem servido de alavanca ao trabalho de jovens promessas do cinema nacional e, acima de tudo, tem permitido estreitar laços entre os jovens e a indústria cinematográfica. É uma iniciativa que os incentiva a manter o seu sonho vivo nesta área profissional tão desafiante», disse a autarca.
A sessão de encerramento da 9.ª edição do Ymotion começou com a projeção da curta-metragem “The Voyager” (2017), de João Gonzalez, que sonorizou, ao vivo, a obra. Seguiu-se a entrega do Prémio do Público, atribuído a “Icarus” (2023), de Nuno Mina, e, logo depois, o prémio Melhor Fotografia a “Capa de Honras – La Cuonta de I Garotico i I Bielho” (2023), de Rui Falcão, que também venceu o prémio Melhor Argumento. “Flor de Laranjeira” (2023), de Rúben Sevivas, foi considerado o Melhor Documentário e “O Senhor do Porto” (2023), de Tânia Marques, a Melhor Animação.
O prémio Escolas Secundárias foi entregue a Isa Sousa, pela obra “Madrugada” (2023), e o de Melhor Representação foi conquistado por Inês Sá Frias, pela sua interpretação em “Só Nós Dois” (2023), de Carolina Aguiar.
Foram atribuídas menções honrosas a dois projetos de jovens famalicenses – “Art’Oculta” (2023), de Mariana Silva, e “A Mil Cartas de Distância” (2023), de Andreia Correia, bem como à performance da atriz Maria Leite em “O Abafador” (2023).
A noite ficou marcada pela homenagem, com ovação de pé, a Maria de Medeiros. «Já vinha muito emocionada (…) é muito bonito quando se lembram de celebrar o nosso trabalho», comentou a atriz e realizadora portuguesa, Maria de Medeiros, acerca da homenagem. A artista destacou que o facto de ter acontecido num festival dedicado ao cinema jovem e a jovens realizadores teve um significado especial e que «vê-se a dimensão de criatividade e de poesia que há nestas novas gerações», comentou, ainda, sobre as obras vencedoras.
Recorde-se que a semana principal da 9.ª edição do Ymotion decorreu de 29 de novembro a 2 de dezembro, sendo que a sessão de encerramento do festival foi o culminar de quatro dias de sessões competitivas e momentos temáticos ligados à sétima arte, com a presença de caras bem conhecidas do público português como: Rui Reininho, Valter Hugo Mãe, Carla Chambel e Paula Lobo Antunes.
O Ymotion – Festival de Cinema Jovem de Famalicão é uma iniciativa promovida pelo Município de Vila Nova de Famalicão, através do pelouro da Juventude. Desde 2015, que tem dado palco ao trabalho de jovens cineastas portugueses, dos 12 aos 35 anos, e permitido estreitar laços entre instituições de ensino, estudantes e a indústria da sétima arte.
Este ano, há novidades no Famalicão Porto de Encontro. Uma delas é uma instalação suspensa de guarda-chuvas, a outra é a Parada do Porto de Encontro, que consiste num desfile de pais natais motards. Iniciativa organizada em parceria com o Clube Motard “Os Escorpiões”, que percorrerá algumas artérias do centro urbano no dia 17 de dezembro, a partir das 15 horas. Está associada uma vertente solidária, com distribuição do vinho do porto e bolo-rei pelos bombeiros, hospitais e instituições de solidariedade social que se encontram de serviço na noite de consoada.
O Famalicão Porto de Encontro by ACIF realiza-se ao final de tarde do dia 24 de dezembro. Em troca de uma rabanada, as pessoas têm direito a um cálice de vinho do porto para brindar. Os brindes fazem-se nos bares, restaurantes e na rua, com amigos, familiares e desconhecidos.
Apesar do dia forte ser a 24 de dezembro, entre 7 e 31 de dezembro, está em marcha nos bares e restaurantes a campanha: “compre uma rabanada e ganhe um cálice de vinho do porto”.
A apresentação da 8.ª edição de “Famalicão Porto de Encontro by ACIF” está marcada para o dia 7 de dezembro, quinta-feira, às 18 horas, no topo sul da Praça D. Maria II.
O Famalicão Porto de Encontro é promovido pela ACIF, com apoio de bares e restaurantes. Este ano são 37 restaurantes e 10 bares aderentes.
A ACIF associa ao evento a vertente Porto Seguro, apelando ao consumo de álcool com moderação, e que conta com a parceria dos BV Famalicão, BV Famalicenses, Polícia Municipal, PSP e GNR.
