O Futebol Clube de Famalicão vai estar representado no Campeonato do Mundo de sub-17, que se vai disputar na Indonésia, no decurso deste mês de novembro. O lateral esquerdo Luís Balbo estará ao serviço da Venezuela, que está incluída no Grupo F, juntamente com Nova Zelândia (12 novembro), México (12 de novembro) e Alemanha (18 de novembro).
A chamada de Luís Balbo ao Mundial «é mais um marco importante na história do Futebol Clube de Famalicão», em termos de convocatórias para as seleções nacionais. O clube famalicense recorda que Gustavo Sá foi uma das principais figuras da Seleção Nacional que no Europeu de sub-19 chegou à final.
O período de candidaturas às bolsas de estudo, atribuídas pela Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão a jovens universitários residentes no concelho termina a 15 de novembro, em https://bolsas.famalicao.pt/.
A medida destina-se aos alunos que frequentam o ensino superior, público ou privado (licenciatura e mestrado), com idade igual ou inferior a 30 anos. No último ano letivo, a autarquia atribuiu 421 bolsas aos jovens famalicenses que frequentam o ensino superior, num investimento municipal de quase 257 mil euros, o maior de sempre.

O desafio é lançado aos jovens do concelho para que apresentem propostas de caráter geral ou relativas ao tema do ambiente e sustentabilidade.
Os projetos vencedores – um da componente geral e outro da área temática – vão receber, cada um, cinco mil euros para a sua concretização, sendo que os segundos classificados têm uma dotação de mil euros.
O objetivo do Orçamento Participativo Jovem passa por incentivar o envolvimento da juventude nos processos de decisão, «promovendo a sua participação na definição de políticas públicas adequadas às suas necessidades e ao interesse dos jovens do concelho, num exercício de cidadania, valorizando a transparência na tomada de decisão e potenciando a qualidade da própria democracia», realça o presidente da Câmara.
Os projetos vencedores serão avaliados e votados pelos jovens e depois implementados pelos serviços municipais em estreita colaboração com os proponentes.
As propostas podem ser apresentadas individualmente ou em grupo até ao máximo de 5 pessoas por grupo, com idades entre os 15 e os 35 anos, que sejam residentes, trabalhadores ou estudantes no concelho de Famalicão, há mais de um ano.
A contar para a sexta jornada do nacional de hóquei em patins, o Riba d´Ave/Sifamir perdeu, esta quarta-feira, com o OC Barcelos. A derrota, por 2-6, penalizadora para o conjunto ribadavense, também se explica pelos ferros da baliza contrária, pela boa exibição do guarda-redes adversário e pelo fraco aproveitamento nas bolas paradas. Nery e Franco Pósito foram os autores dos golos do conjunto de Raul Meca.
Ainda desta jornada, o jogo entre o Carvalhos e Famalicense disputa-se a 7 de novembro.
Para a próxima jornada, sábado, o Riba d´Ave/Sifamir joga, às 17h30, em casa da Juventude Pacense. Já a partida entre o FAC e o Tomar será disputada a 22 de novembro.
Na classificação, as duas equipas famalicenses somam apenas três pontos.
O jogo entre o FC Famalicão e o Gil Vicente FC, marcado para o final da tarde do próximo sábado, será arbitrado por José Bessa, da AF Porto. Nuno Manso e Nélson Cunha são os assistentes, enquanto que Rui Lima é o 4.º árbitro.
Hélder Carvalho e Nélson Pereira são os responsáveis pelo VAR/AVAR.
O jogo entre famalicenses e gilistas é da jornada 10 da I Liga. O Famalicão soma 12 pontos e ocupa o oitavo lugar, enquanto que o Gil Vicente, com menos dois pontos, é décimo primeiro.
No âmbito do Programa Casa Feliz – Apoio a Obras, a Câmara Municipal aprovou, na última reunião do executivo, mais um pacote de ajuda. Desta vez são dez habitações abrangidas, num valor total de 47.253,33 euros. Em causa estão, sobretudo, obras de remodelação e adaptação. Especificamente, trata-se da remoção de telhado por causa das infiltrações, reparação de tubagens, pinturas, aplicação de pavimentos cerâmicos, colocação de caixilharias e portas para isolamento térmico e adaptações de espaços para pessoas com problemas de mobilidade.
Recorde-se que o município de Famalicão apoia obras em habitações de famílias carenciadas que precisam de alterações específicas nas suas casas. Independentemente do valor da empreitada, o apoio do município não pode ser superior a cinco mil euros.
