Em setembro, arranca a 3.ª edição do Cidnay Festival, que vai ter lugar em Santo Tirso, Famalicão e Porto, numa promoção da Famart – Plataforma Artística. Estão inscritos nomes como Mischa Maisky, Eszter Haffner e Nobuko Imai. Além de músicos de renome internacional, participam dezenas de jovens talentos, de diversas latitudes. A direção artística está a cargo de João Álvares Abreu.
Para além das academias internacionais, com masterclasses de violoncelo, música de câmara, violino e viola, destacam-se o concerto de abertura, com Mischa Maisky & Maisky Trio, a 3 setembro, 18h00, na Nave Cultural da Fábrica de Santo Tirso; o concerto de Eszter Haffner, com Filipe Pinto-Ribeiro & Juventus Ensemble, a
8 setembro, pelas 21h30, no Teatro Narciso Ferreira, Vila Nova de Famalicão; o concerto de encerramento sobre os 80 anos Nobuko Imai, a 26 novembro, no Palácio da Bolsa, Porto.
O programa combina momentos de inegável excelência musical, em concertos abertos, com espaços para tertúlia e partilha, relaxamento e visita ao património local.

A Loja Social do município de Famalicão realiza, este fim de semana, uma recolha de bens alimentares no supermercado E. Leclerc.
Esta ação de solidariedade, conta com a colaboração dos voluntários do Banco Local de Voluntariado, contribuirá para apoiar as famílias do concelho que se encontram em situação de vulnerabilidade económica.
A secular feira das cebolas está de regressso a Gondifelos. É um dos mais importantes certames do género no norte do país e outrora servia para marcar o preço da cebola. A tradição tem sido mantida, com direito a muita animação.
Realiza-se este fim de semana, no Parque de Lazer da freguesia, com a presença de uma dezena de produtores e vendedores, alguns oriundos de concelhos vizinhos.
Um concurso gastronómico, o tradicional Trail da Feira das Cebolas e demonstrações de folclore são alguns dos momentos que compõem o programa da iniciativa, organizada pela Junta de Freguesia com o apoio da Câmara Municipal e associada à Mostra Comunitária de Gondifelos que vai decorrer durante este sábado e domingo. O certame tem um vasto cartaz para os dois dias, sendo que as iniciativas associadas à Feira das Cebolas concentram-se durante o dia de domingo.
A bênção e inauguração da Casa Paroquial de Joane terá lugar na tarde do dia 2 de setembro, com a presença de D. José Cordeiro. O Arcebispo de Braga vai presidir à eucaristia marcada para as 18 horas e, uma hora depois, decorre a sessão solene e bênção da Casa Paroquial.
Entretanto, e para angariar fundos para pagar as obras realizadas, no dia 9 de setembro, no Largo 3 de Julho, há um serviço de refeições (feijoada e rojões) e porco no espeto. Esta iniciativa assinala, ainda, o arranque do novo ano pastoral.
Termina esta sexta-feira, com o concerto de Salvador Sobral, mais uma edição do Devesa Sunset. Neste concerto ao pôr do sol no Parque da Devesa, junto ao lago, Salvador Sobral terá a companhia dos guitarristas André Santos e Manuel Rocha.
O aclamado autor de “Amar Pelos Dois”, encerra a edição deste ano do Devesa Sunset com uma atuação que revisita o seu último álbum “bpm” (2021) e revela um pouco de “Timbre”, o próximo trabalho de originais com edição marcada para 29 de setembro.
Recorde-se que pelo palco do Devesa Sunset passaram este ano os catalães Pol Batlle e Rita Payés, os Cassete Pirata e Bia Maria & Carlos Sanches.
Organizado pela Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão, o Devesa Sunset teve espetáculos todas as sextas-feiras do mês de agosto, sempre com início às 19h00 e de entrada livre.
