Os alunos da turma G4A da Escola Básica de Bairro estiveram na apresentação da peça de teatro de cariz ambiental “A árvore da minha avó”, a estreia em Vila Nova de Famalicão.
A peça foi pensada e criada para as Eco-Escolas do concelho, com o objetivo de sensibilizar os mais jovens para a importância da preservação do ambiente e da sustentabilidade.
Esta atividade integrou o IV Encontro Concelhio Eco-Escolas, sendo preparada pelo Gabinete de Sensibilização Ambiental. Este ano, o encontro realizou-se num formato e local diferentes do habitual, tendo lugar no Teatro Narciso Ferreira, em Riba de Ave.
A Feira Semanal de Famalicão realizou-se esta semana com menos 34 feirantes, alguns deles impedidos de exercer atividade por não estarem a cumprir o novo regulamento que entrou em vigor no início deste mês.
Nesta segunda semana de aplicação das novas regras, a feira contou com a participação de 281 feirantes, de um total de 315 inscritos.
De acordo com as normas agora em vigor, todos os vendedores devem cumprir um conjunto de requisitos administrativos e legais, bem como respeitar o espaço que lhes é atribuído para poderem manter o seu lugar no recinto. Os feirantes que não reuniam essas condições ficaram, por isso, impedidos de vender nesta fase.
A autarquia está, no entanto, a conceder um período de adaptação, permitindo que os comerciantes regularizem a sua situação até ao mês de junho. Caso tal não aconteça dentro do prazo definido, os lugares atualmente ocupados poderão vir a ser atribuídos a outros interessados.
A USF Nova Estação, em Famalicão, alcançou o melhor valor de Índice de Desempenho da Unidade Local de Saúde do Médio Ave, registando uma pontuação de 91 valores.
Este desempenho destaca o trabalho desenvolvido diariamente pelos profissionais da unidade, bem como o esforço contínuo na prestação de cuidados de saúde de qualidade, centrados nas necessidades da população.
Para a coordenadora da unidade, Dra. Solange Braga, este reconhecimento representa “um motivo de grande orgulho para todos os profissionais, sendo também um estímulo para continuar a melhorar os cuidados prestados à comunidade”.
A USF Nova Estação reafirma, desta forma, a proximidade com os utentes e a melhoria contínua dos serviços de saúde prestados à população.
Depois de Carevic ser considerado o terceiro melhor guarda-redes da I Liga do mês de fevereiro, há mais um jogador do Famalicão na lista dos eleitos dos treinadores do principal campeonato nacional.
Trata-se de Ibrahima Ba. O defesa central foi reconhecido pelo excelente rendimento no mês de fevereiro e foi o terceiro mais votado na eleição referente ao melhor jovem, ao recolher 13,33% das preferências.
O central cumpriu a totalidade dos minutos dos quatro jogos realizados pelo Futebol Clube de Famalicão no mês passado. Ibrahima Ba é uma das revelações da presente temporada e um dos responsáveis por o Famalicão ser a quarta melhor defesa do campeonato.
O projeto Mãos que Cuidam, dinamizado pela LIPAC, com o apoio da Fundação La Caixa do BPI, continua a desenvolver um conjunto de respostas de apoio a crianças, dos 6 aos 10 anos e respetivas famílias, com foco na promoção do bem-estar infantil, do sucesso escolar e da saúde mental.
No âmbito do apoio socioeducativo e reforço escolar, têm sido realizadas sessões de acompanhamento individual e em pequenos grupos e até ao momento, já foram concretizadas 131 horas de intervenção direta.
Como estratégia complementar, foi criado o PLEF – Plano de Literacia Emocional em Família, que pretende incentivar os hábitos de leitura em contexto familiar, fortalecer o vínculo entre pais e filhos e apoiar os Encarregados de Educação na compreensão das diferentes fases do desenvolvimento infantil. Foi criado um espaço de Biblioteca Comunitária, onde as famílias são convidadas a frequentar o espaço ou a requisitar livros para leitura em casa.
Têm sido dinamizadas atividades semanais de Educação Emocional, centradas na compreensão das emoções, no autoconhecimento e na aprendizagem de estratégias de gestão e regulação emocional.
No âmbito da promoção da Saúde Mental, já foram realizadas 53 consultas de psicologia dirigidas a crianças, focadas na avaliação psicológica, nas dificuldades comportamentais e no reforço da autoestima. Paralelamente, foram também realizadas 28 consultas destinadas a Encarregados de Educação, centradas na gestão comportamental, na comunicação familiar e no apoio ao desenvolvimento emocional das crianças.
Para além das iniciativas ligadas ao PLEF, foi recentemente dinamizada uma sessão de Yoga para Encarregados de Educação e crianças, com a colaboração voluntária da professora de Yoga Paula Sá, proporcionando um momento de tranquilidade e ligação entre pais e filhos.
Até ao momento, o projeto já alcançou 47 beneficiários, ultrapassando os objetivos inicialmente definidos para esta fase da candidatura. A maioria das famílias participantes é do concelho de Vila Nova de Famalicão.
Já é conhecida a programação desta semana na Casa do Artista Amador de Famalicão. Para sexta-feira está agendada uma Jam Session, às 21h30, um momento aberto a artistas que queiram mostrar o seu talento, mediante inscrição na hora. O evento tem entrada livre.
No sábado decorre a Segunda Eliminatória do Concurso Internacional Laurus Metal Battle 2026. A abertura de portas na Casa do Artista Amador acontece às 21h00 e as bandas para esta eliminatória são Silicium, Mismatch e Killt. Neste concurso, o público também vota para a banda vencedora da eliminatória pelo que a presença é parte importante.
