O Ymotion 2018 – Festival de Cinema Jovem de Famalicão está na reta final com a exibição das mais de 51 curtas-metragens eleitas a concurso, com a organização de uma mostra sobre “O Novíssimo Cinema Português” e com a realização da Gala Final durante a qual serão conhecidos os vencedores e onde haverá uma homenagem a Lúcia Moniz pela sua carreira cinematográfica.
A exibição dos filmes em competição e votação do prémio do público arranca segunda-feira, dia 3 de novembro, e culmina com a sessão de encerramento e entrega de prémios no dia 10 de novembro. Pelo meio há o ciclo de cinema português comissariado por Rui Pedro Tendinha e a antestreia do filme Imagens Proibidas de Hugo Costa, com Elmano Sancho, Diana Costa e Rita Redshoes.
A associação pediátrica do Hospital de São João, no Porto, pondera apresentar uma queixa-crime contra quem mandou parar a obra da ala pediátrica daquela unidade, por manterem crianças internadas em contentores desde 2011.
“Está na altura de responsabilizar efetivamente quem faz os decretos e dá as ordens. Este Governo parou a obra dizendo que devia ser o Estado a fazê-la. Nunca mais fez nada e as crianças continuam naquelas instalações miseráveis”, explica Jorge Pires, porta-voz da APOHSJ — Associação Pediátrica Oncológica, em declarações à Lusa.
O responsável avança que “um grupo de juristas está a estudar a forma de fazer uma queixa de responsabilidade criminal” contra “quem deu ordens e teve um papel ativo para que a obra parasse” em 2016, depois de ter começado em 2015 com financiamento privado. “As crianças não têm culpa das politiquices ou da incompetência dos políticos”, frisou. “Quando vemos as pessoas a mentirem todos os dias e a nada quererem fazer, ou baixamos os braços e morrem crianças ou temos de fazer alguma coisa para que as coisas mudem”, justifica o porta-voz da associação.
O presidente da APOHSJ explica estar em causa “todo o internamento pediátrico”, instalado em contentores, onde as crianças com cancro surgem como “a parte mais sensível” do problema por estarem “imunodeprimidas” e a “lutar contra o tempo, que muitas vezes não existe”.
Jorge Pires observa que as “instalações são péssimas”, com quartos sem cortinas ou janelas calafetadas e espaços para tomar banho sem condições de isolamento ou higiene. “Quando as crianças estão nos contentores e precisam de fazer um exame, têm de viajar para o edifício central em ambulâncias com condições indescritíveis. Os lençóis que as cobrem andam aos caídos dentro da ambulância”, descreve.
“Como é que é possível haver o descanso das pessoas que mandaram parar a obra e nada fizeram e agora estão preparados para mais concursos e mais tempo?”, questiona.
A 24 de outubro, o primeiro-ministro disse que o reforço do orçamento da Saúde permitirá “avançar com o lançamento” do concurso para a nova ala pediátrica do Hospital de S. João, ao passo que a nova ministra da Saúde, Marta Temido, afirmou ainda não haver data para o procedimento.
Em março de 2016, o conselho de administração do Centro Hospitalar de São João defendeu que as obras da ala pediátrica, iniciadas em 2015 com fundos privados, só seriam possíveis com investimento público.
A empreitada de dois anos, orçada em cerca de 25 milhões de euros, era suportada por fundos privados angariados pela associação “Um Lugar Pró Joãozinho”, que até então tinha reunido cerca de um milhão de euros.
Em janeiro de 2017, o ministério da Saúde aprovou a construção da nova ala pediátrica do S. João, anunciando um investimento de cerca de 20 milhões de euros para responder “a uma situação demasiadamente precária que, desde 2011, se verifica com a instalação do internamento pediátrico”, revelou, na ocasião, a Administração Regional de Saúde do Norte.
Estão abertas as inscrições para a quinta edição da Meia e Mini Maratona de Vila Nova de Famalicão. Realizam-se no dia 25 de novembro, numa organização da Runporto, com apoio da Câmara Municipal e da Associação de Atletismo de Braga.
A meia maratona, de 21 quilómetros, e a caminhada, de 6 quilómetros, sem fins competitivos, têm partida da Avenida do Brasil e chegada no Parque de Estacionamento da Casa do Território, no Parque da Devesa.

A prova famalicense, que já é a terceira mais participada do país, depois de Lisboa e Porto, tendo registado na edição do ano passado a participação 1968 atletas, é organizada pelo Eugénios Health & SPA e conta com o patrocínio da MEDIUM Imobiliária. Um dos grandes objetivos deste ano é aumentar o número de participantes, acima dos dois mil atletas.
Com partida e chegada na Praça Álvaro Marques, junto à Câmara Municipal, a São Silvestre é composta por duas provas: uma corrida de 10 quilómetros e uma caminhada de 4 quilómetros. O percurso é pelas principais ruas da cidade, que nessa altura estarão iluminadas com motivos natalícios, atravessando o Estádio Municipal.

A colisão entre quatro viaturas provocou ferimentos em cinco pessoas, um das quais teve que ser desencarcerada. O acidente aconteceu esta manhã, pelas 11h20, na Avenida São Félix, em Gondifelos, e provocou o corte da estrada nacional.
Fonte dos bombeiros adiantou que as vítimas sofreram ferimentos ligeiros, sendo que quatro foram transportadas para o hospital de Famalicão e uma para Braga.
No socorro estiveram os BV Famalicenses, BV Viatodos e a VMER de Famalicão, num total de 20 operacionais, apoiados por 11 veículos. A GNR de Famalicão esteve no local.
Ferido grave em despiste
Um homem de 40 anos ficou gravemente ferido após o despiste da viatura em que seguia. O acidente aconteceu na tarde de ontem, quarta-feira, em Joane. O homem, que foi transportado para o hospital de Braga, foi socorrido por uma equipa da VMER de Famalicão e pelos Bombeiros de Famalicão.
