Um jovem de 27 anos natural de Famalicão ficou em estado grave, depois de ter sido colhido por um comboio, esta quinta feira, na Estação de Campanhã no Porto.
O acidente ocorreu às 20h10, na linha 2.
As causas do acidente estão ainda por apurar.
Foi transportado para o Hospital de S. João em estado grave.
No local estiveram os Sapadores do Porto e o INEM.
A PSP deteve esta quinta feira um homem de 50 anos suspeito de ter agredido um indivíduo de 30 anos, no Café Oásis, no centro comercial S. Bento, em Santo Tirso.
O suspeito terá desferido um golpe profundo no pescoço com uma garrafa partida, provocando-lhe ferimentos graves.
“Foi uma coisa de momento. Deram uma boca um ao outro e o que estava ao balcão partiu uma garrafa e mandou para o pescoço do que estava sentado à mesa”, relatou ao JN Eduardo Fernandes. “Foi muito rápido. Ninguém conseguiu agarrá-lo”, disse.
A vítima, um empregado de restaurante, foi socorrida no local pelas equipas dos Bombeiros de Santo Tirso e das ambulâncias SIV de Santo Tirso e VMER do Hospital de S. João, unidade para onde foi transportada em estado crítico.
O funcionário do café sofreu ferimentos leves e seguiu para o hospital de Santo Tirso.
A Biblioteca Municipal Camilo Castelo Branco, em Vila Nova de Famalicão, inicia na próxima quarta-feira, dia 2 de maio, o horário alargado para estudantes até às 24h00. O novo horário que estará em vigor até 29 de junho tem como objetivo servir os estudantes durante esta época de exames.
A medida que arrancou no inicio de 2017 tem-se revelado um verdadeiro sucesso, contando com uma adesão a este horário de vários milhares de estudantes.
“Sair à noite para estudar na Biblioteca está, assim, a tornar-se um bom hábito entre os nossos estudantes e isso é de enaltecer”, afirma a propósito o presidente da Câmara Municipal, Paulo Cunha, mostrando-se muito satisfeito com o sucesso da iniciativa. “Os números não deixam dúvidas e deixam-nos muito satisfeitos, sustentando a nossa aposta em corresponder às necessidades dos nossos jovens, criando uma ligação mais próxima e cúmplice com eles e auxiliando-os na concretização dos seus objetivos”, salientou.
Assim, até 29 de junho, a Biblioteca Municipal funciona às segundas-feiras das 14h00 às 24h00 e de terça a sexta-feira das 10h00 às 24h00. O edifício está localizado na Avenida Dr. Carlos Bacelar.
A Feira da formação, qualificação e emprego de Vila Nova de Famalicão que decorre até ao final do dia de sexta-feira, no Lago Discount, em Ribeirão, tem disponível mais de 400 empregos, através das três dezenas de empresas do concelho presentes no certame.
O agroalimentar domina a oferta com cerca de 120 postos de trabalho disponíveis, seguindo-se a fileira automóvel com uma centena e a área têxtil com 60 empregos. Mas há empregos em outras áreas como a agricultura e o comércio e serviços.
O presidente da Câmara Municipal de Famalicão, Paulo Cunha, abriu esta quinta-feira o evento que faz “o casamento perfeito entre a oferta e a procura, reunindo num único espaço toda a oferta formativa ao nível do ensino secundário e profissional do concelho e as empresas, possibilitando, desta forma, aos jovens famalicenses uma montra da oferta existente no ensino e das necessidades profissionais da região”.
O autarca que visitou os vários expositores e experimentou algumas das ideias desenvolvidas pelos alunos famalicenses no seu percurso no ensino profissional, mostrou-se “muito satisfeito” com a adesão das escolas ao evento e à mobilização que estas estão a fazer junto dos jovens.
Até ao final do certame prevê-se que vários milhares de jovens marquem presença no espaço e interajam com o mercado profissional e com a oferta formativa da região.
Refira-se que a Feira da Formação, Qualificação e Emprego pretende colocar os principais empregadores do concelho em contacto direto com os estudantes finalistas, desempregados e pessoas à procura de novo emprego, onde as empresas e instituições terão a oportunidade de encontrar e eventualmente selecionar alguns dos melhores candidatos a emprego. Por outro lado, este evento quer dar a conhecer aos visitantes os perfis profissionais procurados pelas empresas, através da realização de conferências por oradores experientes e promoção de espaços destinados à demonstração de atividades profissionais, com o objetivo de compreender a atual situação do mercado de trabalho e os seus desafios.

A Minho Young Chef Awards 2018 acontece nos dias 24 e 25 de maio, em Braga, e irá escolher os melhores alunos de artes gastronómicas, entre 18 e 26 anos, do sexo masculino e feminino e contará com o chef Renato Cunha, conhecido cozinheiro, enólogo, gastrónomo, de reconhecimento nacional e internacional, como embaixador do evento e jurí.

O município famalicense vai distinguir os três melhores alunos da Universidade Lusíada de Famalicão com um prémio de mil euros cada. Miguel Ângelo Ferreira, do curso de Arquitetura, Filipa Mendes, de Ciências Empresariais, e Luís Miguel Marinho, de Engenharia, serão reconhecidos pelo seu mérito, na sessão solene do Dia da Universidade Lusíada, que decorre durante o próximo mês. Por sua vez, os prémios aos melhores alunos da CESPU serão entregues, como habitualmente, em novembro, no dia da universidade.
A medida foi aprovada esta quinta-feira, na reunião do executivo municipal e insere-se na atribuição dos prémios “Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão” que reconhecem os melhores alunos do ensino superior famalicense – Universidade Lusíada e Cooperativa de Ensino Superior Politécnico e Universitário, CESPU.
A medida de apoio ao ensino superior arrancou em 2009, distinguindo inicialmente o melhor aluno do curso de Arquitetura, com um prémio de 500 euros. Entretanto, o apoio foi alargado aos vários cursos das duas universidades, passando para o dobro.
Além deste apoio, a autarquia atribui anualmente bolsas de estudo aos jovens famalicenses que frequentam o ensino superior. Este ano, o investimento foi de 180 mil euros, para 273 jovens com os apoios entre os 500 euros e os 1100 euros.
