O árbitro famalicense, distinguido em novembro de 2017, pela Câmara Municipal na Gala do Desporto, é um dos escolhidos para arbitrar na fase final da CEV U18 Volleyball European Championship. A competição está a decorrer desde ontem, quinta-feira, prolongando-se até ao dia 21 deste mês, em Sófia, na Bulgária.
Nuno Teixeira, que já representou a arbitragem nacional na Turquia e Israel, foi escolhido para esta importante competição que vai consagrar o campeão europeu, num escalão que é visto como a antecâmara do patamar maior do voleibol europeu. Entre os 12 árbitros de diferentes nacionalidades, estará Nuno Teixeira, facto que prova a sua qualidade.
Na manhã de ontem, quinta-feira, a equipa da Brigada de Investigação Criminal da Esquadra da PSP de V. N. Famalicão deteve dois homens, de 33 e 50 anos, aos quais foram apreendidos diversos tipos droga.
A ação decorreu pelas 8 horas, junto da central de camionagem, local referenciado pela existência de tráfico de estupefacientes. Após vigilância, os agentes abordaram os dois indivíduos que estavam numa viatura, dentro da qual encontraram estupefacientes.
Na sequência da detenção, e após outras diligências, foram apreendidas 86 doses de heroína; 45 de cocaína; 8 de haxixe; 525 euros em dinheiro; 3 telemóveis; 1 viatura; 3 carteiras e duas meias onde estava escondida alguma droga.
Segundo a PSP, um dos detidos preparava-se para apanhar um autocarro com destino a França e levaria consigo o produto estupefaciente
