A exposição “Diário/Notas e Paisagens”, de Manuel João Vieira, pode ser visitada na Galeria Municipal Ala da Frente, na rua Adriano Pinto Basto, em Vila Nova de Famalicão, até 27 de setembro.
Conhecido pelo seu percurso nas artes plásticas, na música e na performance, Manuel João Vieira apresenta uma narrativa visual intensa e muito pessoal, onde a ironia, a sátira e as referências à história da arte se cruzam para dar corpo ao universo caótico e provocador do artista.
A exposição, de entrada livre, reúne trabalhos que convidam o visitante a percorrer paisagens reais e imaginárias.
Conhecido tanto nas artes plásticas como pelos projetos musicais Ena Pá 2000 e Irmãos Catita, o artista é também professor e, nos “tempos livres”, candidato à Presidência da República, como aconteceu este ano.

A Paróquia de São Pedro de Esmeriz está a celebrar o padroeiro com uma novena que tem envolvido o grupo paroquial e toda a comunidade. Ao longo de vários dias, o Altar de São Pedro tem percorrido diferentes locais da freguesia.
Em cada etapa, é acrescentado ao altar um símbolo relacionado com São Pedro, seguindo-se um momento de oração e um convívio entre os participantes, com chá, sumos e doces.
A iniciativa pretende reforçar o espírito de comunidade, promovendo a oração, a partilha e o testemunho de fé em torno do padroeiro da paróquia.
Cerca de 90 estudantes da Licenciatura e Mestrado em Engenharia Aeroespacial da Universidade do Minho vão realizar o seu primeiro voo em contexto académico, este sábado, no Aeródromo do Alto Minho. A “janela de voo” vai decorrer das 12h45 às 15h30.
Neste Programa de Adaptação ao Meio Aéreo, os estudantes testam na prática o que aprenderam durante as aulas. Os alunos, na maioria do primeiro ano, vão ainda interagir com os profissionais do aeródromo para projetos desenvolvidos em contexto de aula.
Na licenciatura, uma das disciplinas tem vindo a desafiar os estudantes com projetos de conceção e construção em parceria com o setor. Em 2024, criaram um planador com materiais em fim de vida em parceria com empresas locais, em 2025 estudaram e afinaram um planador de aeromodelismo e em 2026, os alunos vão lançar um balão atmosférico que irá recolher informação atmosférica até aos 36km de altitude.
Já os alunos do 2.º ano construíram este ano letivo minifoguetes com altitude máxima de 400m e tempo de voo até dois minutos com aterragem por paraquedas. Os rockets serão lançados às 16h00, também no Cerval. O momento prevê a presença do presidente do Município de Cerveira, Rui Teixeira, e do Município de Valença, José Manuel Carpinteira.
A agenda dos alunos no aeródromo inclui, na parte da manhã, as boas-vindas pela pró-reitora Sandra Dias Fernandes, o lançamento de um balão atmosférico, uma palestra sobre limitações humanas no ambiente aeronáutico, um workshop sobre desafios da acrobacia aeronáutica e uma aula de mecânica aeronáutica.

André Moreira, de 30 anos, tem um largo percurso no futebol nacional e internacional, destacando-se o Atlético de Madrid, Aston Villa, Braga, Moreirense, a extinta B-SAD, entre outros clubes, sendo que a sua história no futebol começou em Ribeirão.
O clube romeno, cujo treinador é António Folha, anunciou a contratação do guarda-redes famalicense, destacando a sua altura, 1,95m, e sua experiência. André Moreira estava nos gregos do Volos NFC, desde fevereiro deste ano.
