O plantel do FC Famalicão está a cumprir a terceira semana de preparação para a época 2025/2026. Em Lugo, Espanha, o grupo liderado por Hugo Oliveira tem enfrentado dias de intenso trabalho. O clube tem disponibilizado nas redes sociais alguns momentos fotográficos que atestam a intensidade dos treinos, tal como a boa disposição que reina entre os atletas.
O estágio em Lugo prossegue até sábado, regressando depois o plantel a casa, ao Centro de Treinos.
A 23 de julho, a equipa de Hugo Oliveira recebe o Moreirense e, no dia 26, há mais duas partidas de preparação e ambas em casa: Felgueiras e Lourosa.
Recorde-se que, no passado sábado, no primeiro jogo-treino houve uma vitória, 6-1, sobre a equipa sub-23 e, esta terça-feira, já em terras do país vizinho, nova vitória (2-0) sobre o Celta de Vigo.
Paulo Ricardo Lopes, coordenador da Iniciativa Liberal em Famalicão, afirma que as «IPSS do nosso concelho são fundamentais para aumentar a capacidade de resposta às necessidades de crianças e idosos, sendo parceiros fundamentais para o desenvolvimento sustentável de Famalicão». Esta afirmação surge após uma visita à Associação Teatro Construção (ATC), que decorreu esta quinta-feira.
Esta instituição social de Joane, uma das maiores do concelho, pretende aumentar a capacidade de resposta a crianças e idosos, algo que foi sublinhado pela Iniciativa Liberal como muito relevante. Este partido, através dos seus candidatos à Câmara e à Junta de Joane, compromete-se a trabalhar de forma próxima com esta instituição apôs as eleições autárquicas, marcadas para o dia 12 de outubro.
A comitiva da Iniciativa Liberal foi composta por Paulo Ricardo Lopes, Miguel Fidalgo e Plácido Dias, o candidato à Junta de Freguesia de Joane.
A 5.ª edição do FAMAFOLK – Festival Internacional de Folclore decorre de 31 de julho a 3 de agosto com as danças típicas da Polónia, Colômbia, Chile, Bulgária, Chéquia, México, Hungria e, claro, Portugal.
À semelhança dos anos anteriores, além da cidade, haverá apresentações descentralizadas, desta vez em Joane e Landim. A gala de abertura acontece na noite de 31 de julho, às 21h30, na Praça D. Maria II; no dia 1 de agosto, à mesma hora, exibição no adro do Mosteiro, em Landim; no dia seguinte, também às 21h30, é o encerramento, no Parque da Ribeira, em Joane.
O festival, da responsabilidade do Grupo Etnográfico Rusga de Joane, tem o apoio do município de Vila Nova de Famalicão, das Juntas de Freguesia de Joane e Landim, da CCDR-Norte, da Federação do Folclore Português, da Fundação INATEL, da Associação CIOFF Portugal, das gráficas ENIF e Dar Ideias e do Agrupamento de Escolas Padre Benjamim Salgado.

Do programa consta, no dia 31 de julho, às 15h30, um workshop sobre “Danças do Mundo”, marcado para a Praça D. Maria II; 21h30, na mesma Praça, espetáculo de abertura com o Grupo Etnográfico Rusga de Joane, Grupo Etnográfico da Areosa (Viana do Castelo), mais da Polónia, Colômbia, Hungria, Bulgária, Chile, Chéquia e México. Na sexta-feira, dia 1, pelas 21h30, no Adro do Mosteiro, com o Grupo Etnográfico Rusga de Joane, Rancho Folclórico de S. Pedro de Bairro, mais os estrangeiros convidados. No sábado, dia 2, no Parque da Ribeira, além dos estrangeiros, atua o Rancho Folclórico e Etnográfico do Vale de Açores (Mortágua), terminando com o Grupo Etnográfico Rusga de Joane.
No domingo, dia 3, entre as 11 e as 12, junto à igreja de Joane está marcada uma cerimónia Ecuménica (a busca pela união apesar das diferenças).
Está a decorrer o processo de comercialização de lugares anuais no Estádio Municipal, cuja primeira fase termina no dia 29 deste mês. Neste período os sócios que dispunham de lugar anual na época passada podem garantir a manutenção do mesmo, devendo proceder à renovação na Loja Oficial ou através da plataforma online (https://bit.ly/3GusXSZ)
Depois, entre os dias 30 de julho e 1 de agosto, pode efetuar a troca de lugar anual, sendo necessário proceder, imperiosamente, à renovação do mesmo até 29 de julho.
Caso ainda haja disponibilidade, a partir de 4 de agosto, terá início a venda de novos lugares, num processo exclusivo a sócios do Futebol Clube de Famalicão.
O lugar anual terá um custo de 120 euros, com acesso a todos os jogos oficiais do Futebol Clube Famalicão no Estádio Municipal (exceto jogos da Taça de Portugal).
Todos os lugares anuais são para a Bancada Poente (bancada coberta). Os sócios detentores de lugar anual podem usufruir de 10% de desconto (não acumulável com outras promoções) em todos os produtos oficiais do Futebol Clube Famalicão.
Na noite do dia 25 de julho, em Castelões, há uma caminhada solidária a favor da Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro.
A iniciativa, com concentração na sede da Junta, faz parte das comemorações do Dia da Freguesia e tem um percurso de 9km. A inscrição tem um custo de 5 euros, com oferta de t-shirt, água, fruta e bolachas.

Na tarde desta quinta-feira, o choque frontal entre duas viaturas ligeiras fez três feridos, na Avenida São Silvestre, em plena N206, em Requião.
O alerta foi dado por volta das 14h40 e para o local foram acionados os Bombeiros Voluntários de Famalicão que transportaram as vítimas, com ferimentos considerados ligeiros, para o hospital local.
