Obras que «rasgam o caminho do futuro em Famalicão. Um futuro mais amigo do ambiente, da sustentabilidade, da economia local e das pessoas. Com mais qualidade de vida», refere o presidente da Câmara Municipal, Paulo Cunha, na mensagem editorial.
À semelhança das últimas edições, este boletim edita um suplemento especial dedicado aos Selos Famalicão Visão’25, apresentando os 34 projetos que este ano foram reconhecidos.
O Boletim Municipal tem uma tiragem de 25 mil exemplares e é distribuído gratuitamente, de forma não endereçada. Quem não o receber em casa, pode levantar um exemplar nos diversos organismos municipais dispersos pelas freguesias e inclusivamente nas próprias Juntas de Freguesia.
Pelo quarto ano consecutivo, o município de Famalicão foi reconhecido com a Bandeira Verde ECOXXI por causa das práticas de sustentabilidade ambiental, social e económica.
A análise dos peritos, que têm em conta mais de vinte indicadores, é da responsabilidade da Associação Bandeira Azul da Europa. Além dos indicadores relacionados com a mobilidade sustentável; cooperação com a sociedade civil; cidadania, participação e governança, entre outros; pela primeira vez foram tidos em conta indicadores específicos relacionados com as alterações climáticas, saúde e bem-estar.
Uma das iniciativas municipais transversais aos vários indicadores é a plantação de 25 mil árvores até 2025. Trata-se de um projeto famalicense que envolve toda a sociedade, em ações de sensibilização e participação cívica, para a promoção da floresta autóctone. Neste momento, já foram plantadas quase 21.500 árvores no âmbito deste projeto.
Para o presidente da Câmara Municipal, Paulo Cunha, «a atribuição deste galardão representa um reconhecimento público a Vila Nova de Famalicão pelo trabalho desenvolvido em prol de um ambiente saudável». Para o autarca é «um orgulho, mas é também uma responsabilidade que nos motiva para continuarmos a trabalhar em prol de um território mais amigo do ambiente, mais verde e com mais qualidade de vida para todos, principalmente para as gerações vindouras».
A Linha de Apoio Psicológico a quem está na linha da frente no combate à pandemia, criada pela Oldcare, tem um mês mas já é possível fazer um balanço positivo.
Susana Dias, diretor clínica da Oldcare, nota que os profissionais de saúde estão sobrecarregados e sob forte pressão desde a primeira vaga da pandemia e que a situação tem piorado neste agravamento. Entre os problemas apresentados, está o forte impacto emocional que estão a sentir; os desabafos sobre turnos muito longos; o peso e desconforto dos equipamentos de proteção individual; ou o pouco tempo dedicado à família. O cansaço chegou a um ponto que, segundo análise da Oldcare, muitos profissionais pensam recorrer ao afastamento do trabalho por baixa médica.
Susana Dias descreve que a maior parte das chamadas recebidas foi de pessoas infetadas que são cuidadoras e que não tinham ninguém para cuidar dos seus familiares doentes. Muitas das chamadas foram efetuadas por pessoas que estiveram em contacto próximo com doentes com covid-19 e que tinham muitas dúvidas sobre quais os procedimentos recomendados pela Direção Geral da Saúde (isolamento, realização de teste, etc.) e que não conseguiam estabelecer contacto com a Linha Saúde 24.
A Clínica Oldcare, que está a seguir as recomendações e orientações da Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses, procedeu ao encaminhamento das situações para outras entidades de saúde, nomeadamente o SNS 24 e instituições do concelho.
Recorde-se que, em abril, a Oldcare criou pela primeira vez uma Linha de Apoio Psicológico. Na altura, a maior parte das chamadas foi efetuada por pessoas com doenças mentais pré-existentes e que precisavam de apoio médico. Também foram registadas muitas chamadas feitas por pessoas com crise de ansiedade devido ao isolamento social e contactos feitos por pessoas que estão a viver momentos emocionalmente difíceis devido à perda de familiares próximos com COVID-19.
Segundo o último relatório da Direção-Geral da Saúde, Portugal registou, nas últimas 24 horas, mais 82 mortos e 4.720 novos casos de infeção por covid-19. Na região Norte houve 2.182 novos casos.
Ainda de acordo com o boletim, desde o início da pandemia registam-se 358.296 casos de infeção confirmados e 5.815 mortes. Foram registados 283.719 recuperados, mais 3.681 nas últimas 24 horas.
Depois de uma passagem pelos gregos do PAOK Salónica, Mário Branco está de regresso ao futebol nacional para assumir o cargo de diretor desportivo do FC Famalicão.
O dirigente, de 45 anos, destacou-se, em Portugal, ao serviço do Estoril Praia, com duas qualificações para a Liga Europa. Seguiu-se uma experiência de duas temporadas nos croatas do Hajduk Split, onde voltou a apurar-se para as competições europeias. No entanto, o maior feito aconteceu na Grécia quando, ao serviço do PAOK, enquanto diretor desportivo, sagrou-se campeão, algo que não acontecia há mais de 34 anos, título ao qual juntou ainda a Taça da Grécia.
Miguel Ribeiro, presidente da SAD famalicense, assinala que a escolha de Mário Branco «é um passo em frente» no projeto do clube. «Ficamos felizes por contratar um profissional de excelência que nos ajudará a guindar o clube para o topo do futebol português».
Mário Branco diz-se entusiasmado com a capacidade de crescimento «de um projeto já de si de excelência. Para regressar ao futebol português teria de ser para um clube desta dimensão, no qual a administração tem um projeto, missão e visão bastante interessantes».
O novo diretor desportivo do Famalicão promete «aportar alguma da minha experiência a uma estrutura já de si forte», considerando que o clube «tem os ingredientes necessários para chegar ao topo do futebol português e para ser visto como um exemplo de como se pode trabalhar bem em termos de sustentabilidade financeira e de sucesso desportivo».
