O grande auditório da Casa das Artes recebe, nos dias 3 e 4 de janeiro do próximo ano, os tradicionais concertos de ano novo pelas bandas famalicenses.
No dia 3, às 16 horas, o concerto é da Banda de Famalicão e, às 21h30, sobe ao palco a Banda Marcial de Arnoso. No dia 4, às 16 horas, atua a Banda de Música de Riba d’ Ave.
Entrada: 2 euros; estudantes, Cartão Pentágono, seniores e pessoas com deficiência: 1 euro.
O prémio Januário Godinho para a reabilitação da Quinta das Águas teve em conta o mantimento da traça original, o rigor construtivo, a qualidade dos materiais e a perfeita integração de um novo edifício com o construído no século XIX. Estes argumentos convenceram o júri que resolveu distinguir o atelier Spaceworkers e a construtora Fernando Silva lda.
O presidente da Câmara Municipal de Famalicão realça que os argumentos do júri encaixam nos pressupostos que levaram à criação do prémio. «Quando recuperámos a atribuição deste prémio, fizemo-lo precisamente com o objetivo de incentivar este tipo de intervenções, que valorizam o património existente e acrescentam modernidade, sem que a identidade se perca», afirmou Mário Passos no dia da entrega do prémio, que ocorreu esta segunda-feira, dia 15 de dezembro.
A coerência da linguagem arquitetónica foi um dos pontos salientados pelo júri que analisou um projeto que reabilitou a casa senhorial e a torre, recuperou a garagem de serventia e acrescentou a construção de um novo Pavilhão de Verão. As alterações tiveram em conta a valorização do património existente, melhorar o conforto e reforçar a relação entre arquitetura, luz e paisagem.
A requalificação da Quinta das Águas foi feita pelo atual proprietário, Jorge Silva, que explicou que na primeira conversa com os arquitetos mencionou o interesse em «recuperar o edifício, melhorar as áreas e o conforto, mas respeitar os elementos e o enquadramento da casa. E o resultado corresponde, fruto de um trabalho minucioso de todos os que tiveram intervenção nesta construção, dos arquitetos aos engenheiros, empreiteiro e todas as equipas de obra», referiu.
O espaço passa a contar com amplas áreas sociais no piso térreo, várias suítes distribuídas pela casa principal e pela torre — onde uma claraboia e uma escadaria em caracol são o elemento central de união dos espaços —, com sala de estar, sala de jantar, cozinha, arrumos, lavandaria e garagem, além de espaços de lazer como sala de cinema, balneários de apoio à piscina, áreas técnicas e um pavilhão transparente voltado para os espelhos de água.
A concurso nesta edição de 2025 foram apresentados três projetos, tendo a Quinta das Águas arrecadado o prémio no valor de 7.000,00 euros, cabendo 2.000,00 euros ao promotor e 5.000,00 euros à equipa projetista.
O júri foi constituído por um representante ou elemento designado da Divisão de Cultura e Turismo da Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão; da Secção Regional Norte da Ordem dos Arquitetos Portugueses; da Ordem dos Engenheiros – Região Norte; da Direção Regional de Cultura do Norte; da Associação Portuguesa para a Reabilitação Urbana e Proteção do Património; e da Universidade Lusíada – Norte, Campus de Vila Nova de Famalicão – Faculdade de Arquitetura e Artes.
Recorde-se que o Prémio Januário Godinho (arquiteto famalicense) foi criado em 2001 e, desde 2017, recuperado na sua essência, com o objetivo de promover a salvaguarda e valorização do património e dar visibilidade às boas práticas de reabilitação urbana.
António José Oliveira foi reeleito presidente do Grupo Recreativo de Gavião. As eleições foram no dia 15 de dezembro, no salão do Polidesportivo das Ribeiras. Aires Cunha é o vice-presidente, Laura Cunha a secretária e Vítor Cunha o tesoureiro.
Ainda na direção, Agostinho Alves, Marco Carneiro, Renato Oliveira, Joaquim Sousa, José Faria, Edmundo Silva, Eduardo Bernardino, Nélson Silva e António Sérgio Seara são os vogais.
Na presidência da Assembleia Geral mantém-se Adelino Carvalho, apoiado pelos secretários Alberto Gomes e Manuel Granja.
Paulo Cunha preside ao Conselho Fiscal, tendo consigo Fernando Azevedo, Maria Inês Azevedo, Hélder Silva e Pedro Silva.
No mesmo dia realizou-se a Assembleia Geral Ordinária, com os sócios da coletividade a aprovar, por unanimidade, o relatório e contas do exercício de 2025.
Foi também aprovado por unanimidade o plano de atividades para o próximo ano, assim como o respetivo orçamento.
Após os pontos constantes da ordem de trabalhos, foi aberta a palavra aos sócios presentes, tendo sido colocadas algumas questões e apresentados contributos considerados relevantes.
No próximo sábado e domingo, na Avenida Rio Veirão, em frente à sede da Junta de Freguesia, vai funcionar o Mercadinho de Natal de Ribeirão. No local estarão cerca de 20 espaços com artesãos, associações e pessoas que confecionam doces. A animação também está garantida. No domingo decorre uma caminhada solidária, com a oferta de um gorro de pai Natal.
A caminhada, que se realiza às 10 horas, é a favor da Academia Sénior de Ribeirão. A partir da Junta de Freguesia, com um custo de 2 euros por pessoa, reverte para as atividades da Academia.
O mercadinho tem como objetivo celebrar o espírito natalício, valorizar o comércio local e promover os produtos tradicionais e criativos da freguesia ribeirense. No sábado, funciona entre as 14h30 e as 20 horas; no domingo, das 9 às 12 horas.
Depois do jogo da Taça de Portugal, que será disputado na noite desta quinta-feira, no Estádio do Dragão, o FC Famalicão desloca-se ao Estádio da Luz para defrontar o SL Benfica.
O jogo da décima quinta jornada da Liga Portugal Betclic joga-se na noite da próxima segunda-feira, a partir das 20h45. Os bilhetes para o jogo estão à venda na Loja Oficial, sob as seguintes condições: bilhete – 15 euros (venda até às 12 horas de segunda-feira); bilhete e transporte – 30 euros (marcação de transporte até às 18 horas de sábado).
