A Comissão Política Concelhia do PAN visitou, esta quinta-feira, o parque de lazer do Vinhal após receber um alerta de descargas para a ribeira que passa naquele local.
Em comunicado, o partido de Sandra Pimenta fala em descargas de saneamento e outros resíduos sólidos. «Pelo que fomos informados esta situação é recorrente e quer o SEPNA, quer a Câmara Municipal têm conhecimento». A porta-voz diz, ainda, ter dificuldade em perceber qual «o objetivo das entidades locais que deixam morrer os nossos rios».
O partido considera que «só a falta de interesse generalizado na proteção ambiental pode justificar a continuidade da falta de projetos no terreno. Precisamos é de ações e que estas se traduzam na resolução de problemas», pede Sandra Pimenta.
Na passada quarta-feira, João Cotrim de Figueiredo, presidente da Iniciativa Liberal, esteve em campanha em Vila Nova de Famalicão.
Na reta final para as eleições Legislativas, Cotrim de Figueiredo almoçou na Praça-Mercado Municipal, tendo de seguida apanhado o comboio em Lousado, rumo a Guimarães, numa ação que visou alertar para a insuficiência e demora das soluções ferroviárias entre dois vértices do Quadrilátero, nomeadamente no que toca à ligação entre Barcelos e Guimarães.
Durante o dia foram ainda realizados mais eventos no distrito, com passagens por Guimarães e Braga onde encerrou o dia com um jantar de campanha seguido de uma ronda pelos bares da Universidade do Minho.
Um levantamento feito na última semana pelo Ministério da Saúde, em articulação com a Direção-Geral da Saúde (DGS) e as administrações regionais de saúde, indica que entre 55% e 60% dos casos reportados pelos hospitais “dizem respeito a doentes cuja admissão a internamento ocorreu devido à covid-19”.
Numa resposta conjunta enviada à Lusa, a tutela e a DGS explicam que este levantamento foi feito junto dos hospitais para perceber a dimensão da coexistência de doentes internados por covid-19 e de doentes internados por outras causas, mas positivos para o SARS-Cov-2.
“Considerada a situação epidemiológica atual de circulação prevalente da variante Ómicron, em que muitos utentes apresentam quadros assintomáticos ou de doença ligeira, admite-se que exista ocupação de camas covid-19 por doentes com outras patologias e cujos internamentos possam ter sido motivados por essas outras circunstâncias, mas que se encontram em camas/alas dedicadas a doentes positivos para SARS-CoV-2”, referem.
O boletim diário referente à situação da pandemia no país, acrescentam, diz respeito aos doentes infetados a ocupar camas covid-19 e a causa do internamento só é apurada aquando da alta do doente: “Os internamentos reportados no relatório de situação diário correspondem aos dados remetidos pelos hospitais relativos ao total de camas ocupadas no final do dia anterior por doentes internados que testam positivo ao SARS-CoV-2, independentemente de a covid-19 ser diagnóstico principal ou secundário.”
“O diagnóstico principal do episódio de internamento é apenas dado no fim do internamento através da alta hospitalar pelo médico, sendo a análise mais exaustiva sobre estes dados realizada posteriormente, após a alta hospitalar e codificação da mesma no sistema”, explicam.
Na resposta, indicam que a realidade nos hospitais entre janeiro de 2021 e novembro de 2021 era diferente, adiantando que, nessa altura, entre 75% e 85% dos internamentos covid-19 tiveram como diagnóstico principal a covid-19.
“Para os casos internados em novembro e dezembro de 2021, as proporções são semelhantes até ao momento”, acrescentam.
O Ministério da Saúde e a DGS explicam que “estes últimos dados não são ainda definitivos, uma vez que nem todos os casos internados terão tido alta hospitalar ou esta alta pode ainda não ter sido codificada”.
“Os dados relativos a janeiro deverão ser confirmados em março, com uma metodologia robusta, após a alta hospitalar e a sua codificação”, sublinham.
Os dados do boletim de situação diário de quarta-feira indicam que estavam internados nos hospitais 2.249 doentes, dos quais 147 em unidades de cuidados intensivos.
Um ciclista de 62 anos ficou, na tarde desta quinta-feira, com ferimentos depois de ter sido abalroado por uma carrinha com reboque.
A situação aconteceu cerca das 16h30, na EN105, em Polvoreira, informa O Minho.
Ainda de acordo com a mesma fonte, que contactou com algumas testemunhas do atropelamento, o condutor do reboque não se terá apercebido da situação e acabou por seguir viagem, sem prestar auxílio ao ciclista caído na estrada.
Os Bombeiros de Guimarães, que estiveram envolvidos no socorro, esclarecem que a vítima teve ferimentos considerados ligeiros.
A Unicef defendeu quinta-feira que os governos de todo o mundo devem fazer todos os possíveis para manter as escolas abertas, apesar do elevado número de infeções por covid-19 ligadas à variante Ómicron em vários países.
O Fundo das Nações Unidas para a Infância, que desde o início da pandemia insiste na importância de as crianças poderem ir à escola de forma presencial, considerou que essa deve ser a prioridade também nesta fase.
Num comunicado intitulado “Não há desculpas, mantenha as escolas abertas, as crianças não podem esperar”, a diretora executiva da Unicef, Henrietta Forre, ressaltou que é necessário evitar “uma catástrofe” na educação.
Para isso, Henrietta Forre faz três grandes recomendações: manter as escolas abertas, vacinar os professores urgentemente e apoiar a vacinação dos alunos, mas sem pô-la como requisito para estar na sala de aula.
Como sublinhou, apesar dos “desafios sem precedentes que pandemia da covid-19 está a criar aos sistemas educativos de todo o mundo”, é necessário fazer “todos os possíveis para manter as crianças nas escolas”.
De acordo com Unicef, estima-se que cerca de 616 milhões de crianças sejam atualmente afetadas pelo encerramento parcial ou total dos estabelecimentos de ensino.
O organismo da ONU pede “ação decisiva para permitir que todas as crianças voltem à escola”, com especial atenção para os grupos marginalizados.
Em relação à vacinação, a Unicef implora que seja dada prioridade para a imunização dos educadores, ao mesmo tempo que apoia a vacinação dos alunos.
Nesse sentido, salienta que a vacinação não deve ser um requisito para que as crianças regressem à escola, pois isso prejudica o acesso à educação e pode aumentar as desigualdades.
