O Movimento Cuidar dos Cuidadores Informais apela para que os cuidadores informais tenham prioridade na vacinação contra a Covid-19. Lembra que um cuidador informal infetado pode infetar a pessoa que cuida e, uma vez doente, é incapaz de manter os cuidados necessários.
A questão foi colocada em julho de 2020, ao Ministério da Saúde, a quem apelaram para incluir os cuidadores informais no grupo prioritário de vacinação. A resposta chegou em janeiro passado, quando o então coordenador da Task Force do Plano de Vacinação contra a Covid-19, Francisco Ramos, informava que estes cuidadores não tinham sido incluídos na primeira fase.
O Movimento Cuidar dos Cuidadores Informais, composto por quase três dezenas de associações de cuidadores e doentes de todo o país, pede que se reavalie esta decisão.
«E se é importante vacinar os cuidadores formais, como os profissionais de saúde, porque estão na linha da frente, os cuidadores informais também estão! Embora revestidos com um manto de invisibilidade, são também uns verdadeiros heróis! Com os condicionamentos da pandemia, prestam um maior número de horas de cuidados, sem os apoios que gostariam», refere o movimento.
O relatório diário da Direção-Geral da Saúde dá conta que nas últimas 24 horas registaram-se 167 óbitos e 3480 novos casos de infeção pela covid-19 (709 dos novos casos são na região Norte).
Há ainda mais 8.263 recuperados.
Desde o início da pandemia até hoje registam-se 778.369 casos de infeção e 14.885 mortes.
Um total de 252 reclusos está infetado com covid-19, havendo ainda 82 casos ativos entre trabalhadores da Direção-Geral de Reinserção e Serviços Prisionais (DGRSP), informou esta quinta-feira esta entidade tutelada pelo Ministério da Justiça.
Em nota informativa, a DGRSP adianta que, além dos 252 reclusos infetados numa população prisional de 11.239 pessoas, há ainda a registar 788 reclusos recuperados.
Quanto aos trabalhadores do quadro da DGRSP infetados (82), a Direção-geral observa, em contrapartida, haver um conjunto de 461 trabalhadores clinicamente recuperados.
Em relação aos jovens internados nos Centros Educativos, a DGRSP informa que já não existem casos ativos, após se terem verificado nove casos clinicamente recuperados.
Num plano mais detalhado sobre a situação da pandemia nas cadeias, a instituição revela que foram testados dois reclusos da Ala E do Estabelecimento Prisional (EP) de Lisboa, antes de mudarem de Ala e, uma vez que estes dois reclusos acusaram positivo realizaram-se na quarta-feira testes rápidos aos trabalhadores em serviço na Ala E e aos 215 reclusos aí afetos.
“Iniciamos hoje um processo que nesta primeira fase permitirá vacinar cerca de 15 mil bombeiros nas próximas semanas. Esse é um objetivo que, em articulação com as estruturas do país, nos ACES [Agrupamentos de Centros de Saúde], do Minho ao Algarve, nos permitirá dar mais confiança […] na ajuda pré-hospitalar […] e no apoio a todas aquelas que são as necessidades de socorro das populações”, disse Eduardo Cabrita.
O governante falava no arranque do programa de vacinação dos bombeiros no Centro de Saúde da Damaia, na Amadora, no distrito de Lisboa.
De acordo com o ministro da Administração Interna, a vacinação é um sinal de esperança para superar a pandemia.
“[…] Hoje iniciamos uma nova fase: a da vacinação dos profissionais das funções do Estado”, reiterou, adiantando que há uma “articulação entre todas as áreas governativas” para a coordenação “da resposta no quadro do estado emergência”, definindo “prioridades claras”.
Eduardo Cabrita lembrou ainda que mais de 300 mil pessoas já receberam a primeira dose da vacina e mais de 100 mil portugueses já receberam a segunda dose, completando o processo de vacinação.
“Nós gostaríamos de ter 10 milhões doses já disponíveis, […] 300 mil portugueses receberam a primeira dose, há já mais de 100 mil que receberam a segunda dose da vacina e já têm o processo completado”, assegurou.
Segundo dados oficiais do Governo, publicados na terça-feira, foram já vacinadas 400.190 pessoas contra a covid-19 em Portugal, das quais 106.055 completaram já as duas tomas da vacina.
O programa de vacinação dos bombeiros começou hoje no Centro de Saúde da Damaia e contou com a presença, além de Eduardo Cabrita, da ministra da Saúde, Marta Temido, da secretária de Estado da Administração Interna, Patrícia Gaspar, e do secretário de Estado Coordenador para o combate à pandemia na Região de Lisboa e Vale do Tejo, Duarte Cordeiro.
Cerca de 15.000 bombeiros voluntários, sapadores e municipais deverão ser vacinados contra a covid-19, num processo que se vai prolongar durante as próximas duas semanas.
O Ministério da Administração Interna (MAI) sustenta que os bombeiros, dada a dimensão operacional do transporte pré-hospitalar que executam, desempenham “uma função essencial do Estado e por isso vão ser vacinados ao longo das próximas duas semanas”.
Segundo o MAI, a ordem de vacinação destes 15.000 bombeiros foi definida com base em critérios operacionais da Autoridade Nacional de Emergência e Proteção Civil e abrange o universo de voluntários, sapadores e municipais.
O Ministério tutelado por Eduardo Cabrita indica que os locais de vacinação, em vários concelhos de cada um dos 18 distritos do continente, foram estabelecidos de acordo com a distribuição geográfica dos 15.000 bombeiros.
De acordo com o MAI, Lisboa e Porto são os distritos com mais bombeiros que vão ser vacinados contra a covid-19, 2.181 e 1.916 respetivamente, seguido de Viseu (1.025), Aveiro (958), Coimbra (945), Leiria (945), Braga (910), Santarém (842), Setúbal (829) e Vila Real (687).
No distrito da Guarda vão ser vacinados 644 bombeiros, em Faro 617, em Castelo Branco 500, em Bragança 477, em Portalegre 388, em Viana do Castelo 347, em Beja 358 e em Évora 326.
