A Associação de Dadores de Sangue de Famalicão tem agendadas duas colheitas de sangue para os próximos dias.
A primeira é já este domingo, na sede dos escuteiros de Oliveira Santa Maria, entre as 9 e as 12h30, e a segunda na quarta-feira, dia 10, das 9 às 13 horas, no Centro Pastoral de Santo Adrião, em Famalicão.
As colheitas são feitas pelo Instituto Português do Sangue e da Transplantação.
No dia 11 de junho, o Arciprestado de Vila Nova de Famalicão celebra a Solenidade do Santíssimo Corpo e Sangue de Cristo.
Apesar de todas as restrições impostas pela atual situação, marcada pela pandemia, o Conselho Arciprestal entendeu não deixar de celebrar este dia.
Contudo, face às circunstâncias, esta celebração assumirá diferentes contornos. Assim, no dia do Corpo de Deus, terá lugar um momento de adoração eucarística, às 17h00, na Igreja Matriz Nova de Vila Nova de Famalicão.
Para esta celebração estão convocados todos os sacerdotes do Arciprestado e cada paróquia, para além da presença do seu pároco, também estará representada por apenas um membro da comunidade.
A GNR começou a intensificar o patrulhamento nas explorações agrícolas, em todo o território nacional, com o objetivo de prevenir a criminalidade em geral e os furtos em particular, bem como possíveis situações de tráfico de seres humanos.
A Operação Campo Seguro começou a 1 de junho e prolonga-se até 31 de dezembro. Durante a operação, a GNR irá promover ações de informação e sensibilização junto das comunidades rurais, muito especialmente dos agricultores, sobre medidas de prevenção e proteção contra furtos, em particular contra o furto de cortiça ou outros produtos agrícolas, cobre e outros metais não-preciosos.
Os agentes da GNR vão aproveitar a oportunidade para sensibilizar os condutores de tratores e de outras máquinas agrícolas para as questões de segurança, uma vez que há muitos acidentes com estes veículos. Em 2019, registaram-se 700 acidentes.
No intuito de garantir que as diversas campanhas agrícolas decorram num clima de segurança, a GNR irá desenvolver ações de policiamento de proximidade e de fiscalização, empenhando militares de diferentes valências, nomeadamente, dos Comandos Territoriais, do Serviço de Proteção da Natureza e Ambiente, da Investigação Criminal e da Unidade de Ação Fiscal. Para fazer face à criminalidade transfronteiriça, serão efetuadas ações de fiscalização em coordenação com a Guardia Civil.
A PSP de Famalicão deteve na madrugada desta terça-feira, entre as 01H39 e as 03H16, na cidade de Vila Nova de Famalicão, dois cidadãos, com 40 e 25 anos de idade, por condução de veículo automóvel sob influência de álcool.
Depois de submetidos ao teste de alcoolemia, apresentaram uma TAS de 2,20 e 1,90 g/l no sangue, respetivamente.
Os detidos foram informados que irão ser notificados, posteriormente, para comparecerem no Tribunal de Famalicão.
Além das medidas para garantir a segurança e a saúde dos seus colaboradores em período de pandemia, as empresas do Grupo Continental de Lousado ajudaram instituições, no âmbito da sua responsabilidade social.
Neste contexto, a Continental doou 25 mil garrafas de água à Associação Casa – Centro de Apoio aos Sem-Abrigo, para as duas delegações: Porto e Lisboa. Irá suprimir as necessidades durante um mês, uma vez que distribui cerca de 900 garrafas de água por dia.
A Continental destaca o trabalho que a Casa tem vindo a desenvolver junto de uma franja da população com necessidades muito especiais e que se agudizaram no decorrer desta pandemia.
As ajudas do Grupo Continental contemplaram ainda o Banco Alimentar Contra a Fome, com paletes de produtos alimentares. Os bens foram para as delegações de Braga e Porto que os fizeram distribuir por quem mais precisa e foram muitos os casos novos que surgiram neste tempo de pandemia pelo covid-19.
A ajuda foi prestada também a alguns centros sociais dos concelhos de Famalicão, Santo Tirso e Braga, com entrega de produtos de primeira necessidade.
Computadores a escolas do concelho de V.N. de Famalicão
A Continental em Lousado doou 13 computadores a dois agrupamentos escolares, aderindo a campanhas lançadas por escolas no concelho, no sentido de resolver, em parte, o problema das carências de equipamentos informáticos, especialmente para os alunos que foram sinalizados como estando privados desses equipamentos em casa.
As doações não se ficaram por aqui. Foram distribuídas mais de 3000 viseiras de proteção individual a vários parceiros que estiveram e continuam a estar na linha da frente no combate à COVID-19 – rede Conti 360º, rede ContiService e motoristas das frotas parceiras ou a ACeS Baixo Vouga – USF Flor de Sal. De referir ainda a colaboração com a Câmara Municipal e Bombeiros Voluntários Famalicenses, entre outras instituições que receberam apoios monetários ou em espécie.
Em 2019, as empresas da Continental em Lousado, no âmbito da responsabilidade social apoiaram diversas instituições, com mais de 110 mil euros.
