A Polícia de Segurança Pública foi, na tarde desta sexta-feira, chamada ao centro da cidade de Vila Nova de Famalicão, na sequência de uma agressão de um casal a um indivíduo.
O episódio de violência aconteceu por volta das 16h30, na Rua de Sto. António, perto da matriz antiga. A alegada vítima das agressões acabou por se refugiar num dos estabelecimentos comerciais daquela rua. O comerciante acabou por trancar a porta da loja para proteger a vítima.
Os agressores colocaram-se em fuga e a polícia foi chamada ao local.
Populares relataram que este incidente terminou com o carro da vítima a ser levado pelos agressores, uma situação que não foi possível apurar junto das forças policiais.

Um famalicense, de 65 anos, residente em Vila do Conde, foi absolvido pelo Tribunal de Braga. Em causa estavam disparos sobre um amigo, por causa de um cão.
Os dois foram amigos e vizinhos na freguesia de Guimancelos. José Maria tinha um cão, da raça chow-chow, e a namorada de Ricardo, o queixoso, ofereceu-lhe uma cadela da mesma raça, ficando combinado que aquele lhe daria uma cria.
Em 2017, José Maria foi viver para Vila do Conde, deixando e ser vizinhos. Porque não tinha entregue o cachorro, como combinado, Ricardo, a namorada e um primo, procuraram José Maria em Vila do Conde. Foi mal recebido pelo ex-amigo.
A acusação dizia que José Maria lhe deu uma chapada na cara e, no meio de empurrões, dirigiu-se para o carro onde tinha um revólver, uma Magnum calibre 7.65 mm. “Não sais daqui a bem, sais a mal!”, terá dito, ao mesmo tempo que disparou três tiros.
O confronto continuou com empurrões e gritos até que os três conseguiram imobilizar o agressor. A GNR foi chamada ao local. José Maria ficou acusado de tentativa de homicídio, detenção de arma proibida e uso e porte de arma em estado de embriaguez.
No julgamento, os juízes consideraram não haver provas de que disparou, a três metros de distância, para o corpo do queixoso, dando apenas como demonstrado que deu dois tiros, mas para o ar. Concluíram, ainda, que não estava bêbado quando puxou da pistola.
Uma condutora foi assistida pelos bombeiros, e transportada com ferimentos para a unidade de Vila Nova de Famalicão do Centro Hospitalar do Médio Ave, na sequência no despiste do carro que conduzia.
O acidente aconteceu cerca das 09h00, na Rua 5 de Outubro, em Fradelos, Famalicão.
Para o local foram acionados os Bombeiros Voluntários Famalicão.
Três pessoas, uma das quais um bebé, foram vítimas de um atropelamento, cerca das 09h20 desta sexta-feira, na Avenida Dr. Mário Soares, na vila de Joane, em Vila Nova de Famalicão.
O acidente aconteceu nas proximidades do supermercado Bolama, no momento em que as vítimas se preparavam para fazer o atravessamento da N206, que liga os concelhos de Famalicão a Guimarães.
Para o local foram acionados os Bombeiros Voluntários Famalicenses que transportaram as vítimas. Segundo a corporação os feridos “que não inspiram cuidados de maior”, foram levados para o hospital de Famalicão, sendo que a criança não teve ferimentos, acabou por ser protegida pelo carrinho onde era transportada.
