A diminuição e a limitação crescente ao financiamento das Agências de Desenvolvimento Regional, ao longo dos quadros comunitários, e as suspenções dos pagamentos devidos por parte da Agência para o Desenvolvimento e Coesão IP, no âmbito do Programa Operacional Potencial Humano de 2012, relativo à execução de projetos QIPME-Norte, são duas das razões invocadas pela ADRAVE – Agência de Desenvolvimento Regional do Vale do Ave, SA para colocar um fim à sua ação, ao cabo de 19 anos.
A decisão foi tomada no passado dia 14 dezembro, em assembleia geral. O Conselho de Administração da ADRAVE, após auscultação do Revisor Oficial de Contas, entendeu ser sua obrigação apresentar a insolvência.
A futura Clínica da Mulher, da Criança e do Adolescente no Hospital de VN Famalicão integra a próxima ação do Roteiro pela Inovação, da Câmara Municipal, que dá a conhecer as ideias e projetos com caráter de novidade, de empreendedorismo e de diferenciação desenvolvidos no concelho pelas mais variadas instituições, empresas e cidadãos.
A apresentação pública do projeto acontece esta sexta-feira, 15 de dezembro, pelas 10h30, em conferência de imprensa, no salão nobre do Hospital de Vila Nova de Famalicão, com a presença do presidente da Câmara Municipal, Paulo Cunha, e do presidente do Conselho de Administração do Centro Hospitalar do Médio Ave, António Barbosa, entre outros responsáveis.
O Hospital de Vila Nova de Famalicão quer tornar-se uma referência da região na prestação de serviços de saúde da mulher e da criança e, por isso, avança para a criação desta nova valência. A direção do Centro Hospitalar do Médio Ave desafia a comunidade a associar-se ao projeto através de mecenato e o Município de Vila Nova de Famalicão já deu o primeiro passo nesse envolvimento.
O projeto, que vai nascer a partir da adaptação de atuais espaços hospitalares, vai proporcionar todas as condições para a afirmação pública da excelência dos serviços de saúde da mulher e da criança e será uma oportunidade para modernizar instalações que o tempo e o uso tornaram pouco adequadas.
Um jovem com 16 anos de idade foi atropelado, na manhã desta quarta-feira, na Rua da Igreja, na freguesia de Delães, Vila Nova de Famalicão.
Ao que a Cidade Hoje conseguiu apurar, o menor estaria a atravessar a rua na passadeira em frente à casa mortuária, quando foi surpreendido por uma viatura que não parou e acabou por o atropelar.
O condutor do veículo, ter-se-á colocado em fuga logo de seguida, sem prestar qualquer tipo de ajuda à vítima que ficou caída no chão.
O auxilio chegou através de um popular que terá visto a situação e alertou de imediato o 112.
Para socorrer o menor, estiveram no local os Bombeiros Voluntários de Riba d’Ave e a VMER do Centro Hospitalar do Médio Ave, acompanhados pela GNR de Riba d’Ave que tomou conta da ocorrência e procura agora o condutor do veículo envolvido neste atropelamento.
A vítima foi transportada para o Hospital de Famalicão e já se encontra em casa, livre de perigo.
A primeira pausa do ano letivo está a chegar e em Vila Nova de Famalicão a paragem é uma boa notícia para todos. Para os mais pequenos, porque chegaram as tão aguardadas férias e os momentos de brincadeira, e para os pais, porque graças aos programas de ocupação de tempos livres promovidos pela Câmara Municipal os seus filhos ficam bem entregues, a aprender e a divertir-se em segurança.
A partir da próxima segunda-feira, 18 de dezembro, cerca de quinhentas crianças do 1.º ciclo vão participar nas diversas atividades programadas no âmbito das Férias Desportivas e Recreativas do Natal. A iniciativa, promovida anualmente através do pelouro do Desporto, decorre até dia 22, sexta-feira, em vários espaços do concelho.
As atividades físicas e desportivas predominam no programa da iniciativa que, entre outros momentos, levará ainda os mais pequenos ao circo, na tarde do dia 19, e a Matosinhos, no dia 21, para assistirem ao musical “Alice e o País das Maravilhas no Gelo”.
A Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão pensou ainda nos jovens entre os 12 e os 16 anos e vai promover, através do pelouro da Juventude, mais um campo de férias “Aventura no Natal”.
Com mais de uma dezena de jovens inscritos, a iniciativa arranca também na próxima segunda-feira, dia 18, e durante cinco dias irá contar com um vasto programa de atividades inspirado na série de histórias “As Aventuras de Tintim”.
A Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão vai avançar com as obras de remodelação e ampliação do edifício multiusos da Escola Básica 2,3 de Ribeirão. As obras têm o valor base de cerca de 600 mil euros e um prazo de execução de um ano.
A iniciativa da autarquia resulta do acordo de colaboração celebrado com o Ministério da Educação para a requalificação e modernização das instalações da Escola Básica de Ribeirão, que irá envolver diversas fases.
Para já, seguindo as orientações da direção da escola, foi desenvolvido um projeto de remodelação e ampliação do edifício multiusos, com o objetivo de proporcionar melhores condições aos espaços comuns da comunidade escolar, designadamente à sala do aluno, polivalente, bar, refeitório e espaços adjacentes e biblioteca.

Numa quadra muito marcada pelo consumismo e pelo desperdício, no município famalicense os mais pequenos dão uma lição à comunidade, mostrando que Natal pode também ser sinónimo de ecologia.
Mais de duzentos alunos do concelho deram largas à imaginação e elaboraram adereços e enfeites de Natal com recurso a materiais reciclados e reutilizados. O resultado está à vista de todos na exposição “Natal Ecológico”, patente a partir desta segunda-feira, 11 de dezembro, nos Serviços Educativos do Parque da Devesa.
A mostra, que se realiza pelo décimo sexto ano, foi hoje inaugurada pelos vereadores da Educação e do Ambiente da autarquia, Leonel Rocha e Pedro Sena, e conta, no total, com 19 trabalhos expostos elaborados por cerca de uma dezena de instituições educativas do concelho – JI de Barranhas (Vilarinho das Cambas), EB 2,3 Júlio Brandão, JI Aldeia Nova (Ribeirão), JI de Cabeçudos, JI Pedreira (Bairro), Centro Escolar de Antas e Escola Profissional CIOR.
