Segundo o Anuário Financeiro dos Municípios Portugueses relativo a 2019 e esta terça-feira tornado público, Vila Nova de Famalicão aparece no ranking global dos 100 municípios financeiramente mais eficientes, no décimo sexto lugar, o mesmo que ocupava nos dois anos anteriores.
Famalicão soma 952 pontos, sendo que a pontuação máxima foi obtida pelo Porto, com 1.744 pontos em 1.900 possíveis.
O Anuário Financeiro dos Municípios Portugueses é um trabalho conjunto da Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados e o Centro de Investigação em Contabilidade e Fiscalidade do Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave.
O Centro Hospitalar da Póvoa de Varzim/Vila do Conde, do distrito do Porto, anunciou esta terça-feira que atingiu o limite na capacidade de tratamento de doentes infetados com SARS-Cov-2, tendo preenchidas as 39 camas alocadas à doença.
A unidade hospitalar, que presta a assistência a cerca de 140 mil habitantes daqueles dois dois concelhos, lembrou que, desde outubro, quintuplicou o número de vagas para o internamento destes doentes, passando de sete para 39 em cerca de dois meses.
Com as atuais 39 camas alocadas a doentes infetados com SARS-Cov-2, o Centro Hospitalar atingiu o limite máximo da capacidade instalada para o efeito, o que acarreta algum condicionalismo na atividade cirúrgica. Das sete camas afetas ao tratamento de doentes covid-19, existentes em outubro, o Centro Hospitalar dispõe agora de 39, mercê da evolução crítica da situação, com o consequente aumento de internamentos”, informou a unidade, através de comunicado.
No mesmo texto, o Centro Hospitalar apontou que “o crescimento abrupto da pandemia obstaculizou a projetada conversão da unidade” em Hospital Covid-free.
Assim, todo o 2.º piso do edifício, onde funcionavam os serviços de cirurgia e medicina interna, está agora reservado para o tratamento de doentes covid-19, atingindo o limite da capacidade instalada possível.
A readaptação das instalações hospitalares à dimensão da pandemia fez concentrar igualmente, no primeiro piso da unidade da Póvoa de Varzim toda a área cirúrgica, mantendo-se a unidade de Vila do Conde como unidade Covid-free, para doentes de medicina interna”, acrescentou o Centro Hospitalar.
Segundo dados da Direção-Geral da Saúde, Vila do Conde e Póvoa de Varzim estão entre os 17 municípios do país com maior incidência de covid-19, sendo que o concelho poveiro regista 1.626 infetados por cada 100 mil habitantes e Vila do Conde 1.605.
Em Portugal, desde o início da pandemia, março, já morreram 4.056 pessoas dos 268.721 casos de infeção confirmados, de acordo com o boletim mais recente da Direção-Geral da Saúde.
A doença é transmitida por um novo coronavírus detetado no final de dezembro de 2019, em Wuhan, uma cidade do centro da China.
O município de Famalicão, a Associação Comercial e Industrial de Famalicão e a recém-criada Associação de Restaurantes de Famalicão vão lançar uma campanha de Natal para apoiar o comércio e a restauração. Consiste na oferta de vouchers de 10% de desconto por cada 10 euros em compras nas lojas e restaurantes aderentes. Para perceber melhor, cada voucher recebido na restauração vale 10% de desconto numa compra no comércio tradicional aderente e vice-versa. Estes vouchers não são acumuláveis com outras ofertas, promoções, ou menus em vigor. Apenas poderá ser descontado um voucher por cada compra ou refeição.
A campanha arranca no dia 1 de dezembro e termina no final desse mês. A lista das lojas e dos restaurantes aderentes pode ser consultada, brevemente, em www.famalicao.pt.
Segundo o presidente da Câmara Municipal de Famalicão, Paulo Cunha, esta «é mais uma medida para apoiar dois dos setores mais castigados pela pandemia. Economicamente falando, sabemos que o Natal representa uma época muito importante quer para o comércio, quer para a restauração local e, por isso, esperamos que com este estímulo possamos atenuar o impacto económico causado pela crise pandémica».
O autarca elogia as sinergias criadas pelos agentes locais que permitiram colocar em marcha esta campanha. Paulo Cunha lembra que «esta é a altura de arregaçar as mangas e ver o que podemos fazer uns pelos outros e esta campanha é mais um exemplo dessa cooperação».
Este ano, a PSP sinalizou cerca de 800 suspeitos da prática de crime de violência doméstica e já elaborou mais de 32.000 planos de segurança individual neste contexto.
A informação é do diretor nacional adjunto da PSP, Constantino Ramos. Segundo o responsável, foram também sinalizadas mais de 8.100 crianças em situação de risco e apreendidas quase 200 armas de fogo em contexto de violência doméstica.
A PSP refere que entre 2017 e 2019 registou 309 ocorrências de violência doméstica com armas de fogo, sendo que em 74 delas houve uso efetivo da arma por parte do agressor.
O responsável da PSP adianta que o e-mail criado especificamente para a denúncia destes crimes tem-se revelado de grande utilidade, com a PSP a receber queixas e relatos que muitas vezes chegam via amigos ou colegas de trabalho das vítimas.
O Município de Vila Nova de Famalicão assinala na próxima segunda-feira, 30 de novembro, o Dia Internacional da Cidade Educadora. A comemoração será simbólica, com o hastear da bandeira e o presidente da Câmara fará uma comunicação pública sobre a efeméride que, este ano, assinala 30 anos.
Todas as iniciativas se desenvolvem à volta do tema: “Cidades Educadoras: 30 anos a transformar cidades e pessoas para um mundo melhor”.
No Portal da Educação (www.famalicaoeducativo.pt) está disponível uma série de pequenos vídeos que têm sido transmitidos diariamente ao longo do mês com 30 aprendizagens sobre o que são as Cidades Educadoras bem como a Carta das Cidades Educadoras com a sua nova redação.
Outras iniciativas estão a ser preparadas para comemorar o Dia Internacional da Cidade Educadora. Será editado um Boletim da Educação dedicado ao tema; durante o corrente mês, às terças e quintas-feiras, a Biblioteca Municipal e Polos de Leitura (sessões online) realiza a iniciativa “ODS: juntos mudamos o mundo”; esta quarta e quinta-feira, dias 25 e 26, são realizados dois webinar: um sobre “Cidadania Ativa: Poder Local, no âmbito do Parlamento Jovem da Assembleia da República” e outro sobre “Educação e Saúde em tempos de Pandemia”, que serão transmitidos através da página de facebook do Famalicão Educativo.
As duas rádios de Vila Nova de Famalicão – Fama Rádio e Cidade Hoje Rádio – associam-se às comemorações e, durante o dia 30, difundem rubricas com os 20 princípios da Carta das Cidades Educadoras.
As escolas do concelho também se associaram às comemorações através da divulgação da Carta das Cidades Educadoras e dos respetivos vídeos, através de palestras, workshops, canção das Cidades Educadoras, sites, redes sociais, etc. Foi proposta a elaboração de cartazes, pinturas, desenhos sobre os princípios das cidades educadoras, a exploração dos materiais: Jogo “Memória dos Opostos da Cidade Educadora” e Origami “Eu Me Comprometo”, entre outras iniciativas.
