O Governo quer um novo mapa de freguesias antes das próximas eleições autárquicas.
O Jornal de Notícias avança esta terça-feira que está a ser preparada uma proposta de lei-quadro para a reversão das fusões feitas em 2013. Esta proposta deve ser apresentada ainda este ano.
Ouvido pela Cidade Hoje, o presidente da Câmara Municipal de Famalicão vê com agrado esta intenção do governo. Paulo Cunha recorda que esta reformulação foi uma promessa eleitoral do PS nas últimas eleições legislativas, e que, passados mais de três anos, ainda não se tenha visto nenhum trabalho prático neste campo.
O autarca acrescenta que não deve opinar sobre este assunto, espera, no entanto, que o futuro das freguesias esteja entregue às populações e a quem as governa.
Dos sete corredores portugueses pré-inscritos para a Volta a Espanha, com partida em Málaga no sábado (até 16 de setembro), apenas quatro foram confirmados: Nélson Oliveira, da Movistar, Tiago Machado e José Gonçalves, da Katusha-Alpecin, e José Mendes, pela Burgos-BH.
De fora ficaram Rúben Guerreiro (TFS), que vai mudar de equipa e a partir desta terça feira corre o Tour de Poitou Charentes, Joaquim Silva (CJR), que em setembro corre algumas clássicas em Itália e a Volta à Turquia, e Rui Costa (UAD), que tem previsto participar no próximo mês no Grand Prix do Québec e de Montréal.
Confirmados estão alguns nomes importantes do pelotão internacional, quatro deles vencedores da competição: Alejandro Valverde, em 2009, Vincenzo Nibali, em 2010 (e que usará o dorsal número um, pois foi segundo em 2017 e o vencedor Chris Froome não marca presença), Fábio Aru, em 2015, e Nairo Quintana, em 2016.

“O Futebol Clube de Famalicão, que nasceu a 21 de Agosto de 1931, é hoje um clube diferente mas que mantém as raízes e valores da sua fundação. Um clube identificativo da sua gente, do seu território e da paixão que ainda hoje, orgulhosa e apaixonadamente vivemos como um ‘Amor de Perdição’.
Ao longo do último ano o nosso clube viveu profundas transformações. Concluímos a construção da Academia FC Famalicão, um relevante investimento patrimonial do clube mas, mais que isso, um investimento nas futuras gerações, não só para cimentar o crescimento e valorização de desportistas mas – acima de tudo – de identificação com os valores de um clube que queremos se afirme no panorama desportivo nacional. Hoje aqueles que utilizam as instalações da Academia FC Famalicão tem todas as condições necessárias para a prática desportiva de excelência. E este é um projeto que não vai ficar pelo investimento já realizado. A 2ª Fase de construção vai avançar e queremos que esteja concluída num curto espaço de tempo. Serão novos campos e um mini estádio que vão acrescentar valor ao investimento já realizado. Ao investimento edificado juntamos outros, em equipamento nos diversos departamentos, que continuam a crescer.
A sustentabilidade do clube passa em muito pelo crescimento dos escalões de formação, e o facto de este ano voltarmos a ter as principais equipas nas divisões nacionais é reflexo de que o trabalho que está a ser realizado está a dar frutos.
No último ano resolvemos uma questão com quase 30 anos – o Caso Menád e o Totonegócio – que nos castrava o crescimento. A honradez daqueles que fundaram o Futebol Clube de Famalicão em 1931 cumprimo-la com este ato de gestão, regularizando com a Federação Portuguesa de Futebol esta questão.
O último ano foi também de transformação no que à gestão do futebol profissional diz respeito. A entrada da Quantum Pacific no capital social da SAD que gere o futebol profissional deixa-nos com a convicção de que vamos continuar a crescer. Foi um longo caminho de negociação e de busca de quem connosco partilhasse ambição. São parceiros com visão e estratégia, que nos dão garantias quanto ao futuro e à afirmação definitiva do Futebol Clube de Famalicão no futebol profissional.
Hoje celebramos 87 anos. Queremos cimentar tudo o que tem sido concretizado. Com um desejo firme de engrandecer o Vila Nova, os seus associados, o concelho de Famalicão e as suas gentes. Afinal cumprir os propósitos daqueles que a 21 de Agosto de 1931 fizeram nascer o Futebol Clube de Famalicão.
